Ideas for Missions!

Give the players the ability to make their own non-PRO battles!

This is very unlikely, because developers want to avoid a situation where everyone creates a new battle instead of joining an existing one. Because when that happens, the server ends up being full of half-empty battles that take ages to fill up.

 

It's possible that in a future update it will be possible to select the map you want to play on when you click the Battle! button.

With the new mission update where you can only complete missions in pro battles a select few missions have become very hard. I suggest that the collect boxes, capture flag/points, and finish first in battle missions be removed.

 

All these missions rely heavily on drugs to complete them, especially the finish first in battle. Only the most dedicated free players will have the drugs to complete these missions, not everyone will have the time to complete them.

I think the rewards should increase by another 15% that way if player wanted to keep their chains, they would at least be motivated to do so.

Or at least increase the 10 % mission chain rewards by 10% as well

Hi, I was thinking if you can add a free chest or a container that would open up every 24 hours. This will make the game a little more fun and you will start to wonder what you will get, I understand if you can't do this. But, maybe think about it plz.

Good idea Joe. I have asked for containers in Tanki Online before. Tanki Online does need to have Daily containers for players to pick up a present. Tanki X has containers too. The containers must contain free micro upgrade steps, paints, turrets, hulls, crystals and supplies.

The recent patch update, that held place on the end of March, has caused a lot of controversy in the Tanki community. The majority of tankers (and myself) can agree that Tanki is getting worse through every update, which is very true. The main issue I'd like to resolve however, is the Daily Missions update. Daily Missions is what keeps every tanker as active as possible, trying to get on every day to get rewards. But sooner or later, daily missions is going to be rejected by the community. Here are my 3 ideas.

 

Tankers can understand why Daily Missions can only be completed in non-PRO battles, to get rid of those lazy tankers who make battles with friends and complete missions that way. What about super-missions? Doing these type of mission with friends is absolutely useless and will be slower and more boring than doing it in a real battle. Why not give super-missions the exception? 

 

My second idea is based on the "collect boxes" mission. Face it, this mission is boring, awful + way too easy. Imagine you are in an important mission and it's a Stalemate situtation (both opponents have each other's flag) in Golden Flag (next side to capture flag wins). You have stolen the enemies' flag and you are returning to your base to capture it. However you are on 1% health and a shaft is about to shoot you. You see a repair kit nearby and desperately run to it. Just before you reach the repair kit, a noob with full health comes and takes the repair. As a result, you are shot by the shaft, and the noob also dies, and the enemy flag is returned and they capture to win. Then the noob comments "sorry, it was for my mission." Imagine how frustrating that is. This has happened to me countless amount of times and I know it has occurred to other tankers as well. Let's get rid of this mission as it is so not interesting.

 

Speaking of interesting, I'd like to talk about my final idea -> more interesting missions. With the boxes mission gone, we can introduce new missions that will keep tankers active every day to do missions, but in a fun way. My two ideas are 

- "get [insert number here] kills without dying." It's pretty self-explanatory, but in Call of Duty, there is something called Scorestreaks. They aren't daily missions, but when you reach a certain amount of points (for killing someone or capturing...) you unlock a Scorestreak which is like an additional advantage (or in Tanki terms, a reward). However, if you die you must get points all over again to get the scorestreaks, hence the two words 'score' and 'streaks.' Most people here don't play CoD so I'll go back to Tanki terminology now. Anyways, this mission will require tankers to work hard so that when they claim rewards, they will feel good about it. I will admit that whenever I come to do a mission, I don't do any work for the team and go for the boxes, thus being a useless teammate.

 

- "get a double/triple kill or a trickshot." The double-kill works nicely. It's a fun way to get a mission completed. Plus, shouting "DOUBLE KILL!" and putting other tankers into envy is such a satisfying feeling. So... why not add it into the game? I can understand most turrets cannot do multiple kills at once so maybe a mission like "do 3 kills in under 15 seconds" could be a good solution. The trickshot mission is another good idea in my opinion but is going to require a lot of thinking for the developers. I'm sure their questions will be "What type of trickshot?" or "What is regarded as a trickshot?" I was thinking maybe a shot in mid-air or when you tank is perpendicular to the ground should be counted as a trickshot. The 360 no-scopes are little confusing. 

 

Anyways, I hope you find this topic interesting. It was long, but I believe that these ideas can make Tanki's next update something unlike to all the other updates. I strongly believe that these ideas do have potential if Tanki is hard-working and if they do it correctly. Thanks :)

Undo Change Button:

 

It is a button to undo a mission change for when you prefer the previous mission over the new one. It should be free of Charge.

 

Warning Sign for Special Missions:

 

It is a sign to help you notice you have a special missions.

 


 

Pros:

 

- The sign is useful when you are used to quickly hitting the Claim buttons and forget that you didn't want to claim one of the items at that moment, usually items from a Special Mission.

 

- It could also help you prevent the accidental change of a Special Mission.

 

Cons: (I'll post cons here if you have any)

 

 

PS: The Warning Sign could also be incorporated in the Claim Reward button.

Add another reward to missions and that is. : Paints that are avlible at your rank. If you have it then u get crystals. It shoul be rare as a gold box reward mission

Just tried out daily missions, I suggest very strongly that you base it only on xp, kills, and points, and not on collecting the pick up boxes, I was just in a game, everyone was just sitting at the pick ups, not even going for the flag, people taking the health even though they don't need it, teammates fighting for the pick ups, they were acting like it was the gold box, all sitting there ready to jump into action, when the health box was coming down, remove from the missions, collecting pick ups, everything else is perfect

is it possible to take out TDM missions.... reason being, TDM is a very unused game mode, with a range of 0-2 battles going on per server for medium ranks. since the mission change to regular battles only, all of my TDM missions took on avarage 2 days to complete... not really liking it when the few TDM battles happening are filled with players who are abusing the supplies... 

 

 

just my honest thought and hope for the missions.

The original purpose for Daily missions was to increase activity and get players to do things they rarely/never do. Removing TDM defeats the purpose of Daily missions, they're there to promote other game-modes/alternative play styles.

Does not work.  If people don't like that mode they will not play it, regardless of daily mission or not.

 

Most people use the free switch on it unless there is a substantial (LOL) crystal reward.

 

So in actuality there are very few TDM battles to choose from.
