Ideas for Missions!

Even though they are 2 ''different'' game modes, still I find it strange that you can't complete your DM mission(s) in JGR mode. Maybe they did it intentionally for whatever the reason(s) could be or might be but I think it is worth forwarding it at least, who knows...maybe it will be changed, maybe not.

almost different … there are still no missions for JGR , and I don't see why not make DM missions doable in JGR.

Actually, it doesn't make sense if you compare it to other missions. Take for example "Earn points" missions. yes, You can earn points in any game mode, but if it says to get score in TDM, you can't just go to CTF and do it. Same for JGR and DM.

 

Obviously, generic "kill enemies" and "earn crystals" missions can be completed in any game mode.

Obviously, generic "kill enemies" and "earn crystals" missions can be completed in any game mode.

TDM and CTF are 2 completely different game modes

DM and JGR are basically the same with the only difference being the super tank.

When you go to JGR, there's players killing players and ignoring Juggernaut altogether. If you respawn on one side of the map and Juggernaut is on the other, snipers will get you. JGR is in DM mode anyway. So, why not? Makes perfect sense to me.

juggernaut mode is not only about killing the juggernaut , you almost can never kill him anyway , that's why you get killed by normal tanks all the time .

Back then, it was possible to complete the "capture 3 flags" mission in ASL.

I can cap flags in both CTF and Assault for capturing flag missions, and those battle-modes are considered as separate.

 

So it would also make sense to count both regular DM and JUG as similar modes for mission purposes.  And it would encourage more players to enter the new mode.  I'd never play it unless I had a mission that gave me something useful (not batteries)

bad idea. Juggernault mode is just some lucky guy who gets to crush everyone and take all the battle fund simply because he was lucky.

this would make the missions too easy

that's possible , but if YOU enter the mode you will most likely not get the juggernaut tank, you're more likely to play with your normal tank , I just like playing it because there's a chance for me to get the juggernaut , rather than playing regular DM all the time .

So TDM missions sould also be done in CP, CTF, RGB or ASL mode? Because most of the players tend to camp & destroy tanki..

Camping does not destroy Tanki. It is the most effective tactic. Players actually need some skill to camp, especially with Rail, Striker, Magnum and Shaft. Thunder and Smoky are OP and easy to use.

 

Can you even imagine Tanki without long range turrets? It would be totally braindead, just spawn, put full drugs, rush, kill, die and repeat. It could be called Fire Freeze Online.

Not now, the JGR is weaker. It's impossible to survive more than 3-4 minutes, unless you're very good and very lucky, landing in a top spot in Brest for example.

I'm so bad with Rail I don't think I survive more than 1 minute.  I get way better score killing everyone else with my own combo.

 

Which is why this mode kinda sux - it's very dependent on skill with a specific turret.

that's the case in high ranks but in low ranks the moment some experienced player gets it the battle will end with him getting a hundred kills

I killed it at a distance, away from the crowd with Vulcan/Titan. The idea is to get in the killing shot.

My point was I don't want to be JUG.  It's main weapon is Rail - I'm terrible with Rail.  As JUG I might get one or two kills.

 

I get many, many kills in that mode by NOT killing JUG.

Most are, you have to read between the lines on some. 

 

I agree with @wolverine848. There's no reason why DM missions couldn't be done on JGR. It's DM mode anyway and at least half of the players don't bother with Juggernaut, they just want the kills. Besides, if you can do DM missions on JGR, maybe that would attract more players to that mode making it a bit more popular. 

 

It may also add a new dimension to the mode. Players go there for DM missions but they still have Juggernaut to contend with.

When I suggested to give Juggernaut a triple Thunder instead of this crap double Rail, nobody heard me. Now I have a new idea!

 

Triple Smoky!!!
