Daily Missions have gone live!

I feel completely fooled and stolen.

Not knowing how it al works i just tried some buttons for change. Didnt notice that changing COSTS 6oo crystals.

NOw i have no crystals left. Tanki is fooling me and steeling me by not giving enough time to adjust or understand the changes

 

 

SHAME ON YCOU TANKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you not read the cost for changing the price?

Anyone noticed the increase in the server graph today? A maximum of 73K players were online. And that in my opinion is very impressive because.. lets be honest here, when was the last time Tanki got 70K+ players online playing, hmm? I think players are coming for one reason.. and that reason is this update, Daily Missions.

 

Keep up the good work Tanki. You've done a great job here. Playing are beggining to come back! Please don't change anything at all in Daily Missions and ESPECIALLY don't remove them. Keep your players happy! 

 

I'm personally very impressed so far with Daily Missions. They're a massive improvement to Daily Gifts and a lot more exciting.

How many of those players do you think are joining for battle and not just to "pick up 5 supply boxes?"

I changed my mind about daily missions. They are taking the fun out of the game. I find myself trying to complete missions rather than have fun. Daily gifts come back :(

MY 1st daily missions :D

are any of you going to change the 1st for free?

Yes.

 

That would take me about 2 weeks at my current rate of goldbox taking :/

 

In that time I would do 14 other missions from that 1st slot ....

The code to detect such unfair actions must be really complex. 

 

Actually, it's very simple in terms of programming to drastically improve some of Tanki's recent problems.....

 

 

(1) Put all players who want to play a particular map/mode into a pool,

      and start only full games with players from the pool.

 

(2) Reduce kick out time on pause to 1 minute, or longer in longer rounds

      (allow 3-4 minute comfort breaks in 60 minute rounds)

 

(3) Cap pause time to 5 minutes TOTAL in a single round, to stop unpause/pausers multing

 

(4) Leaving early could severely lessen or negate rewards collected in that round,

      like quitting without saving in any other game.

 

(5) Make daily missions harder, or give "Easy / medium / Hard" option for the missions

 

(6) Scrap the "collect supplies" missions. They are far too easy.

 

 

Any thoughts welcome

i dont get it on my first 3 missions 

i asked to some friends and they get this mission but its doesnt say about hornet or rail XT

This is why the server graphs show more people. People are creating maps, doing their missions, then leaving. Normally people would login and logout to get their daily gifts so now what you are seeing is this:

Create a map needed to complete your mission, play, then logout.

 

Another pair of people who posted "Please don't kill me - I just want to complete my missions!"

 

It is a bit humorous that one could satisfy 3 missions with this one example I posted (mine today happen to be collect some DD boxes, get 10 control points, and finish first in battle). :D

Well.....

Day two of daily missions and not as impressed with the idea as many other Gunners :( Yes its nice to play for better rewards, but...

Gameplay is no change to worse in  many cases with this new update.

Now I haven't played all the different types of missions out there, but the general idea is the same for most and gameplay suffers.

The problems remain, players are focused solely on earning crystals, and not on playing the game.

This is poor game economics... I know I sound like a broken record.

The only difference now is that the takeover crews don't need mults anymore to win all their battles and the other team now doesn't care in the least if they lose as long as they accomplish their mission.

I for one am already bored with missions even though the funds to time ratio is sweet, I joined Tanki for great battles and this game just doesn't have that anymore.

I have repeated the failures of this game over and over, it is recognized by just about every Tanker I have met in the game.

Here is the short list,

1- The economics are out of whack with the progression of rank and equipment costs in the game.

2- The scarcity of supplies is unbalanced and overpowered.

3- The forum community, clan system and community tournaments were key to a healthy and vibrant community spirit.

4- Lack of interaction between community and the community manager, developers, testers, QA, and UX personnel.

5- Lack of praise and recognition to players who have shown dedication and been involved in the game and community.

6- Lack of leadership in recruiting mature dedicated players to aid in the policing of fair play on the battlefield.

I could go on for another hr of typing but its late, and based on my past attempts at discussion with the producers of this game, a waste of effort on my part.

One of the best updates in Tanki EVER

Avoidance in buying crystals and supplies has decreased and it is also highly engrossing due to its rewards or Crystals and Supplies, so it is for certain that players will unlock more items more often.

This one should be pulled from the list of missions.

Even though I don't agree with a lot of your opinions on the missions up to this point, I agree with this one. This is the mission that actually removes from quality of gameplay.

Ok, this one I don't understand :huh: The devs keep trying to make supplies more and more widespread, and these daily missions with bigger rewards are one way, but you're saying that they're scarce. :huh: I don't see any scarcity in them at all.

If you get the mission "Finish First in Battle" it DOES NOT mean you have to be on the winning team - simply be the top player on your team - even if your team loses it still meets the requirement for the mission.

when I talk about scarcity of supplies, I am mean that they are not scarce enough.

Supplies have a place in the game, but the system is not in place to provide a place for qualified supply use battles.

Every battle shouldn't be a drug fest in my opinion, just like M2s shouldn't go up against M3s, M3s shouldn't go up against M4s etc.

Battles are almost all one sided now days, with rediculious scores of 100 to 1, there is absolutely no fun in these battles for anyone.

What is the use of getting all the supplies and crystals you need and build your garages, when at the end of the day, there is nowhere to have fun with them.

Okay, there are only two major drawbacks to the Daily Missions:

1) Many players are already focused strictly on their own scores in team battles, and this can make it worse.

2) You can get mission credit even if you leave a battle (which actually comes in handy sometimes)

 

We REALLY REALLY need to fix this "carryover" of UNEQUAL TEAM NUMBERS, which this may exacerbate.

When battles rollover, the teams are not the same size, and unless new players join quickly, it becomes one rout after another.

Daily Missions are like Daily Gifts ?

Let's say I enter today in game (got 3 new missions) and I don't play. Then, in the day 4, I enter the game to finish them. Will I get the other missions, in the day 2 and 3 ? Or the 3 new missions in the day 4 ?

 

Edit: Better saying... If I don't enter the game for about 20 days, I will have 20x3 missions daily ? Or just the 3 missions, in the day 20 ?
