Custom made paints!

Well Here is my first Photoshop paint. That i made :D

 

I made one paint by making the textures..... that was "Graffiti", my worst ever paint. I gave up shortly after. Trust me, you are unlikely to get a good paint off photoshop unless you are a pro, just surf google images and hope for the best, or use your own pictures from your camera ;)

I'm not doubting that. I'm just saying you can do a lot better, get a lot easier, and let others do the hard work for you by getting the paints of google images ;)

Uhhh if you mean to put the paint ON your tanki online tank.. You can't do that... These paints are for fun :3

 

If you mean how to put a paint in tank viewer... well here you go!

 

1. Open up this file

 

C:UsersSalvadorDesktopTankViewer kd mod 10.10.2010datacustom_textures

 

I dont know where you have YOUR tankviewer at buy this is mine :) Open

 

TankiViewer -> Data -> Custom Textures

 

2. Once you have that open Grab your paint and paste it in there... The file should be an Image (.jpeg/.png/.gif) note that .gif wont play animated in the tank viewer

 

Delete any paint that was already there like 01 and rename YOUR paint to 01... Once your done head back to the tank viewer! and you wont see 01. Instead.. You'll see your very own paint :3

I use another method:

 

1. Download TankViewer here.

2. "Extract all Files" from the folder.

3. From this stage onwards is what I do. There would be other ways to do it, but this is how I do it.

4. I created a new folder in the folder "data". I called this folder "Added_textures".

5. In that folder I put some images that I wanted to turn into paints.

6. Going back to the folder "Tankviewer kd mod 10.10.2010", I opened the file "config.exe" in a text editor. I used openoffice but microsoft word or notepad would be just as good.

7. At the end, there is a list of all of the paints, going like this:

8. Create a new line and type in this under it but above the ":

9. On folder "Tankviewer kd mod 10.10.2010" open "TankViewer.swf" on Firefox or another browser.

10. Your paint should be up there!
