Tanki Questions.... and Answers

Hello everyone!

 

I will be starting a new weekly thread here, where new questions will be posted each week, and it's your job to get the best answers, and suggest questions for next week! Up to 3 best answers for each question will be put here over the week, and each week the 3 best questions posted the last week will be put here. The questions will be updated every Friday, the answers should all be put here by Thursday. In replies feel free to put both an answer to a question, and a new question.

 

 

Questions:

 

1. Can Gold Boxes drop in the Novel map in new tanki? If so, is it less often that any other map, and do you have video evidence?

 

2. What is the best turret and hull combination in the game, and why? (because of my bias, I will be taking best explanation... Not my favorite. ;) )

 

3. Should XT Missions and tanks be available for lower ranks? If so, should there be a rank limit, and what should it be?

Fun thread idea but I worry the staff will want to lock it to avoid confusion with the official question and answer sticky thread where they try to quarantine questions about the game.  Although this is more of an ongoing forum game than just asking questions.  With that in mind I hope they see fit to move it to a different subsection rather than lock it.

 

2) I am partial to hunter/smoky.  It is versatile enough to work in most situations, fun, and fast paced.  No combination which I enjoy quite as much.

 

3) I like the idea of super rare missions but giving away free equipment seems like a little much.

Anything about unity version of tanki is unsure but presently gold box also drops in the Novel map.The chances of dropping gold box in any map doesn't depends upon its size but depends upon the battle fund.Every time when there is a change in the battle fund the server decides whether to drop gold box or not (and many people keep saying 'Admin gold please' I hate this phrase).Yeah, I got a proof too.

2. What is the best turret and hull combination in the game, and why? (because of my bias, I will be taking best explanation... Not my favorite. ;) )

This is one of the commonly asked questions.The answer to this question is quite simple i.e. there is no best turret and hull combination in the game.Everything depends upon the playing conditions(map,enemy equipments,battle mode etc.) and moreover everything has its own merits and demerits.This concept can be better explained with the help of an example.

 

I got M2 mammoth and M2 twins.With this combination I could be a real panther ^_^  or just merely a fat buffalo to become anybody's prey :wacko: .What I would be depends upon the map.If I'm playing a small map like ping-pong or island I would surely be a great terror for the enemy team but If I play on a big map I'm sure to become someone's easy prey.Even on every map you also have to care about the paints used by your enemies.If enemies got paint providing protection against your turret you would surely have to change your turret.Moreover it also depends upon the battle mode and the job you have to perform in a battle.

 

I hope the answer to this question is now clear.

 

3. Should XT Missions and tanks be available for lower ranks? If so, should there be a rank limit, and what should it be?

Ummm.........This question doesn't have much importance as compared to other questions because its not that important to get and XT equipment just for its looks.Since you have asked then I would answer it.My opinion about its is yes they should also be made available to lower ranks.Of course there should be a rank limit because you would surely not like to troll a new recruit with such missions.The rank limit should be from Brigadier to gizmo.

You basically created a topic for yourself, where you ask questions and have players answer them for you. If that's the case, then we will be forced to lock it as players are expected to only ask questions in the Q&A topic or on the Help site. Please explain to us how your topic is different from any other topic with a player asking questions.

I think this topic could serve the purpose of a game where the latest questions are asked and players answer them.Player who answers the question in the best way gets a point and his name gets on the leader board.

Well, so far the creator hasn't appeared at all here after posting the topic, so if inactivity continues for another week I will close the topic.

There is another distinction that can be made.  We could propose questions that require discussion from multiple points of view.  Since the question and answer thread explicitly states it is not to be used for discussion.  But if the creator is going to bail it can't be helped.

This is different, because this time people's questions aren't individual posts, it's more like a competition for best questions, and then everyone answers them, not just one mod or something. It would be reasonable to move this to Forum Games, but whatever.
