Identical solar system found!

This just in twin Jupiter found along with sun! The important part about Jupiter is that it helps create and maintain stability to our own Earth. There is a possibility that there is a duplicate Earth in this solar system. To be continued!

This twin is orbiting around this star/sun very close to the same distance and rotation as ours! You can google it!

I have bad news for those of you who wonder if we'll be able to get there - this solar system is around 186 light-years away, which means even if you travel at the speed of light, you'll get there after 186 years you won't get there unless you warp spacetime.

PS the presence of a Jupiter-like planet in that solar system is good news. Jupiter is the vacuum cleaner of our solar system (it attracts comets and planetesimals which either become one of its moons or just collide with it). It keeps the surroundings of Earth clean and makes life here possible. If there is an Earth-like planet in that solar system's habitable zone, I think it may harbor primitive life.

Come on! I just said primitive life forms, just like viruses on Earth and not like the "aliens" you usually see in movies. :P

True , Reaching Pluto even by NASA already took 9 years ...

Yeah. It was going as fast as 16 km/s and it reached Pluto only after 9 years... And Pluto is only several light-hours away. So we're not getting to this new solar system anytime soon.

I wanna live on Mars ! ! !.

No breathable oxygen, too much radiation, no magnetic field, no liquid water on the surface, gravity difference (your heart will have a hard time surviving)...

I wouldn't recommend going to Mars unless you want to be the first person to get there and have your name in history and science books :D

In Future, we might live there, all people when there will be no place on Earth :).

Oh, cool. Can you overcome the gravity of Earth and get to Mars? If no, let me know, I'll give you some 238Plutonium :P

Well, we need to double-check if the planet is habitable for humans or not, and no planet is 100% habitable for humans. And the Earth will never run out of places to stand on. Natural selection bla bla bla Too many humans = fight for food and goodies = too many deaths = the Earth is not full of humans anymore; only the fittest ones will survive.

Duplicate ?  lol then why it didn't came in news  .....

if duplicate Earth , there will be duplicate nTanki online :D XD

Let's not understand the term "Duplicate Earth" lieterally :d. Scientists use this term to address planets that are kinda rocky, are in the habitable zone; have water on their surface :P

?

238Pu is an element that decays releasing a lot of heat which is transferred into energy and used by spaceships as fuel. Scientists get it from 238U.

Whew! Loving this topic

Speed of light can cover our whole globe 7 times per second. So, 186 lightyears means to travel by the speed of light for 186 years. Which is basically infinity.
