New experience stats

After the last Vlog, with the new player stats feature Tanki is working on and reading Goldrocks article on Tanki pros (featuring Xp / BP players tactics), I started thinking about what makes one player better than another. There are so many different types of equipment, 84 combinations to choose from to be exact and each combination requires different skill sets.

I would like to bring up Isida, as it is one of the most unique turrets in the game and had many different roles.

First of all it can heal teammates, the effectiveness of a players ability to heal others is an important role.

Healing oneself is also a key factor, both as an attack but often as a replenishment of health on the fly, wounding an opponent on route to your objective.

The current ratings and D/L take little consideration of the many aspects of a players role in the game as to the rating of his/her expertise with different hulls and turrets.

Often back before the many shafts re-balances, Isida would play an important role to a shafts player giving the shafts player unbelievable D/Ls in the game and these players were king of the large maps, but they owed much of their success to the Isida.

What are the key specs of different hulls and turrets you feel contribute to skill and experience. Also different formats and maps have different skill sets that a player must be taken into consideration as well.

According to me, the players that use twins will have the highest DLs. It is believed by many that hammer is the most OP turret in the game but as far as it is concerned with me, I would say twins. This is because of twin’s portability. It is particularly good in DMs (E.g. Polygon DM, Island DM) as it doesn’t need time to reload. With a heavy hull like Titan, it can easily dominate the battle field.

Last night, I was playing in an Island TDM. The team balance was certainly unfair with 2 players on our side and 3 on the other. Fortunately for us, my teammate was a drugging twins. We won the battle with a huge margin in kills. We continued to play the same battle again and the other team was brutally crushed. What’s unbelievable was that both of us were generals, while the other team was a group of generalissimos.

Twin’s pushing strength is amazing. It is not as powerful at M0 but once it is upgraded to M1, it becomes unbeatable.
