Wouldn't  it be nice if you could sell unwanted hulls,turents,and paints? It would sure help out with buying the m1 gun you've been wanting but never had enough crystals for. So lets ask the Tanki developers if they could make selling your unwanted items a reality!!

 Phantom Is not asking for a refund technically. What would be good is if we could "trade in(edited from the word sell)" items that we are not using or perhaps "not going to use" that we have purchased back to the tanki store for a prorated price. For example we buy a hornet hull and put some upgrades into it. If we hypothetically keep track of what the hull cost and the upgrades lets say we spent 6500 crystals. A "trade in(edited from the word sell)" button could be added next to the "upgrade" button and it would offer a discounted-prorated price, such as in this case you would receive 2500 crystals to your account for the sale. You would not be allowed to sell to other players but only back to tanki via the sell button that would have to be added. This would allow you to clean up some old items and get a few crystals. The prorated system would not give you the full amount that was invested obviously. This is not bad idea.

2nd Reason: If you buy a item be sure for when you want to sell it , you will get lower  amount of crystals than you bought it.

3rd Reason: Tanki Online Payments system will be not have a sense and tanki will lose a lot of money doing this... (From donators ( buyers) )

4th Reason: Tanki will be closed if doing this update ... The why ? Answer: Will gets economies down from Tanki because ... Tanki take money only from Donators (Buyers) and advertisements.

 

The 4th Reason maybe isn't right , I'm not sure :P

I am sorry Andrei but none of this holds up to a basic successful business model and Tanki's economics already has proven your reasoning is not factually or economically based.

 

I will respond in kind.

Point #1 ...if your account is hacked or stolen (as I have had in other games) I have a email address to restore it to it pre-hacked status. The game has logs and thus through tech support I have had other game "undo" the malicious attack of a hacker. Tanki already deals with "stolen accounts" and restore them accordingly if you do have some basic information to help them out so items can be restored.

 

Point #2 You should get less when you "trade it in" or "sell it" this is how tanki would make money. Have you ever bought a car and then traded it in at a dealership? Once you buy the car it depreciates in value (as would the body or turret that you have bought) and are now "trading it in", this is basic SOP for a successful business model and how car companies make money. I don't understand your logic on this one.

 

Point #3 Technically Tanki will not lose money. Tanki already "sells" tank packages at "big discounts" look in your game and see how much a tank gets "discounted". I have seen these "discounted packages" already in play so apparently they are not losing any money (and all business have allowable discounts or "write offs" that are built in to the business model to allow for this). Tanki also has periodic "discount sales" and has even "discounted" micro upgrades at times for special events, so once again this is built into the system already.

 

Point #4 The game will not close because people will still pay for crystals to get upgrades and new turrets and hulls or "discounted packages". If the game has good value and is competitive with the business model in game play and design the game should not go bankrupt unless people lose interest in it or grow bored because it is no longer competitive or considered a game worth investing. This is basic economic operating principles.

 

 

We all know that...well most of us do.

 ...I do not know if either one of you have ever managed a business or tried to start a business or taken classes in economics or accounting but you might want to do so in the future. I have run a business (10 years +) and "discounts" (write-offs) are often the part of a successful business model, as are depreciated asset trade ins (trading in a hull or turret and receiving a prorated amount of crystals back.....think car trade in here) . If your product is good and continues to evolve your should always have customers want to invest (buy crystals) . I am not trying to embarrass anyone but this is how developmental gaming (and a business) works and grows. Hope this clears up my reasoning.

This is a suggestion topic forum. Indra Otuskiti you have turned it into a personal attack on me for whatever reason. I understand the rules well and do not appreciate you violating (2.1.6. Discrimination of inexperienced players (newbies): misinformation, intimidation, mockery) them by taking out personal attacks on me.(sorry but I have only been playing a couple of months and do not know everything like you claim to do) What does me having a job have to do with this post? You might want to read my post again , I have OWNED my own business successfully for more than 10+ years. Apparently you did not see that in the post. However, I just recently recently retired (read into that , I am much older than you)  in case you really have to know. As for the length of explaining my reasoning on my last post, it only took me about 5 minutes to post that so what does having a job have to do with that?
