nice answer . what if aliens were like cave man level ? but why is are 51 restricted ? why every night there are lights moving in the sky ? 

If aliens were like caveman level and we were to reach their planet first somehow would we teach them or would we invade for resources? Sounds a bit spooky when we're on the other side huh? I assume at the time that humans would be advanced but being a stubborn race we have exhausted Earth of it's resources so we would probably invade. Or even takeover? What would that be called, Multiple world war 1? Intergalactic war 1?

 

Area 51 is restricted because it's military, mainly for research into cutting edge aircraft, the public is not allowed near as they could send this to countries that pose a threat to them i.e. Russia (this leads on to the next question).

 

These moving lights are usually top secret aircraft (made by area 51 or equivalent around the world). For example while the B2 Bomber was being tested by the military it was seen by several citizens in the area that it was being tested and an unusually high number of 911 calls talking about UFOs in that area. It was decided by experts that it was the B2 Bomber that caused this.

 

I'm pretty sure it's definitely not every night, it's certainly a rare occurrence depending on where you live. But I do not believe that aliens have made contact either by crashing on the planet (Roswell) or by landing and talking to government authorities.

So the light coming from there (which we can see) is 1400 years old, which means that the position we see it in is also 1400 years old, it probably moved much further on by now though. Even if we could travel at light speed, it would take us 1400 years to get there, and that's much more than our lifetime, hh
