Innovative Idea to Handle Supply Use

Obviously, there was no middle ground that was reached after spending days and days of discussing drug use. Some people love it, some hate it, some can live with it, and some don't care about it.

 

I have a wild idea to handle this, that has never been proposed before as far as I can tell. If the Russians have already proposed this, I'll be seriously impressed.

 

Why not make drugging an individual game setting. I mean from settings, I can disable drugs. If so, my tank will be displayed in battles where supplies are used with grey DA, DD, and SP. Speed boost can have a separate setting. I can't activate garage supplies or pick up supply drop boxes in battles, except gold boxes. Everybody who can see my tank can tell that I can't use drugs with this setting if I wanted to. This setting can have a long cool down period.

 

In return, anybody will supplies activated (except speed boost) will have no effect against my tank, i.e. it would act as if his tank has no DD or DA while fighting against me, but will behave normally with other tanks.

 

This way, in the same battle, we can have tanks that drugs enjoy drugging against each other, and tanks that don't drug enjoy a drug-free environment.

 

You stand by your love for drug with respect to other people's preferences.

 

Naturally, you can still have (PRO) battles with supplies active or inactive, etc.

 

This idea is way out of the box. I am not sure TO can entertain thinking about it, but for a mental exercise, let's see what everyone thinks about it.

Good Idea.

BUT...

  1. what about the Repair kit?
  2. what about the temporary druggers? (those who activate only in emergency)
  3. what when you are stealing a flag and drugged...drugging is very important at that time...and "no effect" of the drug will rage players....coz then players would try not to drug to kill you so that your drugs get wasted...

  3. what when you are stealing a flag and drugged...drugging is very important at that time...and "no effect" of the drug will rage players....coz then players would try not to drug to kill you so that your drugs get wasted...

 

Rework is demanded.

1. Repair kit as a drop box can be given special consideration, just like speed boost.

2. You either drug, or don't drug. If you are wise and want to drug at the right time, you should allow others to be unwise and drug wastefully.

3. Same as 2.

 

By the way, we are trying to solve an unsolvable problem, so there is no easy solution that everyone would love. Everyone has to pitch in if we are ever going to solve this.

If you leave things as is, people are mad because of excessive drugging. If you touch the cool downs druggers will go mad. If you change the potency of the drugs, they will get mad as well. PRO pass is not working well as well. Most battles are not PRO battles, so it is not all that good.

 

If anyone has a good solution, by all means ...

 

Otherwise, try to improve solutions to solve the problems that you can see. It is easy to punch holes in something. Anyone can do it. What we want is patching holes.

It's not unsolvable.

 

The best deterrent is to reduce the xp and in-game points you receive when supplies are employed.

 

eg,

when you have 1 supply in use, all xp and in-game points are reduced by 10%

when you have 2 in use, all xp and in-game points are reduced by 20%

etc

 

example, a normal kill that is worth 10pts would only be worth 7pts if all 3 supplies are on.

Unsolvable? - Maybe..

I agree..and i think that there might not be any solution to which EVERYONE agrees..so i too think that it will be better if we leave it the way it is...but i just posted a few questions that could arise while considering that idea...;)

Simply move the option to turn supplies on or off out of the PRO Pass and but it back in the normal battle creation screen. This way non-druggers will have lots of battles to chose from. 

 

BUT remember this, so many things require a PRO Pass for a reason. If you want options you have to pay.

I tend to disagree. Even if you do that, most people will not touch that option, and that would leave drugging allowed. I am looking for something that puts your destiny in your own hands, not the hands of others or whatever battles that have been made carelessly by others. Creating a battle is not easy. I once had to hang around for about half an hour to get anybody to join in and start a real battle.

That is another thing that would irritate druggers as well, but I think 10% is too little. Maybe reduce by 10%, 30%, 70%, but nobody would agree to that. What would you do with repair kits? :P
