Well, you'd have to overcome your fear of talking to him... That would also be a decent way to find out whether your 'crush' has any proper basis in terms of liking him for who he is, or whether you just have a crush on him because of what you perceive him to be like, which is the case at the moment. The more time you take agonising over it whilst you don't act, the more your imagination will over-hype your feelings beyond reason.

 

Get advice from friends, come up with some way in which to open conversation with him if you really want to do so, and get to know him as a person first - perceptions are often inaccurate.

I wanted to say the same thing. But more bluntly: You don't like him. You just like what you think him to be. Our brains are hardwired to find 'human connection'. That's why we tend to think the best of people who we don't really know. I know this better then most people because I've had first hand experience.

It's almost always false. Your brain is fooling you. You're still young. Don't think much about it. I wouldn't advise getting too close to him. Most of these chain of events lead to dissapointemnt and heartbreak in the later years.

Make friends with him. Have casual conversations about academics or any other areas of common interest. Just don't think too much of him. Treat him like all your other friends. Only time will tell how far you will be able to keep up the friendship.

Let me answer that. If you have some problems in life, say you have got drug addiction or you're depressed... Who will you prefer talking to? You're real life friends and family? Or some friends you made online, who know you? 99% of people prefer latter. It's easier to talk to someone who you don't know closely.

What? I am an Indian and study in an Indian school in India, and people here sure know what dating is! If he's in tenth, better not disclose your grade (he won't say no if you're american :P). Just speak with him, he won't tell anyone. Usually in my school, people become so shy if someone proposes to them and they reject that they don't tell anyone else.

 

So either way, you're safe ;) . If he accepts, good for you.

Coz what i observe around my area is that dating is a real 'trend'...i still remember...children start having girlfriends from 5th standard...i mean they are more focussed on relationships, than anything else....

If a guy/girl isnt in a relation, then we use to tease him by saying - "villagers" :P...exceptions are that he is a very brilliant student and studies too much...:P

 

And yes...what i can understand from a mindset of a boy is that if you are an american girl...then your chances to be accepted are increased by 70%..:P...and an exception again - unless that guy is a 'villager'..:P..

 

Note- No offense was intended while writting this post....its all about casual regional talks...just like in friends...if u understand...maybe..

Seriously, who doesn't want to estimate size of a star from its colour?) I'm not saying everyone should do that, but find a hobby. Get something... Anything. Music, Dance, Sports, Video Games, Astronomy... Anything. 'Dating' and 'Relationships' are not meant for young teenagers. I'll let Movies and Internet take the blame.

What I did:

 

 

1. Ignore everything and continue with my hobbies.

2. When I realised that my friends were too busy dating to 'hang out' with my likes, I told them that they're making a mistake.

3. I just blamed the Internet and movies... Felt sad for the future of our world.. And continue living.

 

 

What happened:

 

 

1. Nothing.

2. I got laughed at. I was left out of all 'group' activities and made fun of.

3. I am still living and the world is still deteriorating and I still don't like 'Relationships'.
