Siege of Massacre by @Penguin40

I move towards the brightly glowing flag. I collect it, and slowly climb the small hill. I move forward, to see the enemy. But not the enemy. It was full with my teammates.

A siege.

I move towards another small hill, hiding in cover from intense fight. A Railgun shot narrowly misses me, but missing was an illusion, as when I checked the tank's health in its computer, I saw critically low health. If the Railgun had hit me, then it could again. Moving through the side of the desert with a Ricochet/Hornet from my team, I reached enemy territory. I was now in danger. I looked to the side, to see a Mammoth/Firebird on defense. No. I just hate Firebirds. How will I get past him? I realize that there are teammates all around me. I fearlessly approach the flag defender, and shoot him. I come closer, only for the scorching flames of a Firebird to come straight out of the enemy turret. Luckily enough, a shot made the defender's efforts useless. All that stood in my way is the corpse of the enemy, which quickly dissipated.

Suddenly, I hear a sound. A charge. Mission failed. I attempt to move away, but fail. To my surprise, I survive. How? I quickly move forward, and hear the victorious sound of a capture. Mission accomplished. I look at my health bar, to see that it is full. I realise that an Isida has been healing me all the time. I move back, but my tank explodes and disappears.

I respawn in a empty, deserted base. Seeing the chance to capture again, I take the flag and move. Suddenly, I encounter what I hate most. A Twins. I attempt to run away, but the decreasing health makes me more and more doubtful about a victory. I close my eyes, preparing for the worst, while attempting to run away. I hear a familiar sound, the sound of losing a flag.

Failure.

I open my eyes, to see myself on top of the small hill. My health was full. An Isida from my team is following me. Good thing for me. I think. Quickly, I move, and quickly reach the hill that separates the blue and red teams. And then I am met with an enormous takeover.

My team has completely taken over the enemy base.

I move my tank, excited but extremely serious at the same time. I reach enemy territory. The enemy flag. I move forward to capture, but I am interrupted by an enemy. Another Twins. I shoot him, but he had full health. I am attacked by a bunch of shots. I remember that my team has three of my friends. I desperately move, and close my eyes, preparing for the worst. I open my eyes, and see that I'm alive. Our flag is millimeters away, at the point where it should be. I capture the flag. Mission accomplished.

I am suddenly shot, and brought back to the base. I respawn, only to see someone with our flag. I take the enemy flag in an attempt to prevent an enemy capturing our flag. I reluctantly steer the tank forward and press the shoot button. My turret charges, before emitting a powerful shot that strikes the enemy. But it has not been destroyed. I move away, but I get destroyed by the repeated fire of the Twins that had the flag. As it moves for the flag capture, it suddenly turns into charred titanium. It loses the flag and its corpse dissipates.

I respawn near the two flags. I take the enemy flag and return our flag to where it should be. I move, speeding the tank to its absolute limit, before reaching the enemy base. It's empty. Where did my teammates go? I move forward, and capture. And then our force attacked the enemy base, taking it over once again. I move back, and then notice four of the enemy sneaking away. I attempt to stop them, but I am too late. My tank explodes into shrapnel. And our force is severely damaged.

I respawn, and quickly take the enemy flag and rush to the enemy base. What I see is unbelievable. Nobody from our team is there, and the base is fully defended by the enemy. I charge forward in a desperate attempt to capture, but my tank explodes. The flag drops, leaving a remain of a desperate attack that would be remembered in the sport's history.

The enemy has stopped the takeover. And ended the siege.

The Art of Tanki Physics

By: @Tanker1928374655

Introduction:

Have you ever been flipped, or flip your opponents? It's all because of physics. Physcis is everywhere, even in Tanki Online. Most tankers don't think about it much, but most strategy relies on physics. Physics determines whether your team wins or loses, physics determines whether you catch a gold or not, physics determine everything. You will be put into situations that test your physics knowledge. Add up your scores and find out what your skill falls into. For all these situations, you are using rail and wasp.

Situation 1:

Stop and think; you see a mammoth/thunder slowly approaching you. You're holding the flag, if you let the enemy return it, you lose the entire 3 hour game. You can't discharge your turret in hopes to destroy it. You're low on health, and you only have a few seconds, until it completely destroys you. Make your choice.

A. Run away in hopes of escaping.

Running works most of the time, however you are low on health. You don't have much health or enough time to run away. Chances of surviving are about 1/50. 1 points

B. Stuff your face with bacon and hope the mammoth didn't see you.

Did you seriously think that would work Chances of surviving are about 1/99999999...0 points

C. Wait for the right time, and charge at the mammoth as it drives up the ramp.

Congratulations! You were able to flip the mammoth. The mammoth lies on the ground in front of you, giving you precious time to escape. Chances of surviving are about 1/4. 3 points

Why?

Most tankers have the initial reaction to run, but in most cases, standing your ground gives you a better chance of survival.

Situation 2:

Imagine this; a gold box is falling, there are multiple mammoths and titans, and time is running out. What will you do?

A. Just keep on pushing.

You're a wasp, there are many heavier hulls out there. Pushing heavier hulls are especially hard when you're the lightest hull available. Chances of catching gold are about 1/10. 2 points

B. Shoot the ground in front of you and pull back simultaneously.

You are able to propel you're front of your tank into the air, and easily get yourself onto the heavier hulls. Congratulations, you got yourself 1,000 crystals. Chances of catching gold are about 1/5... 3 points

C. Eat some bacon, and wait for the other tankers to push you towards gold.

Congratulations! You just satisfied your hunger. Oh yeah, and you failed miserably in your attempt to catch gold...Chances of catching gold are about 1/999... 0 points

Why?

Rail and wasp are is a somewhat deadly combo, however doesn't have much pushing power. One of the advantages with using this combo, is you can propel your front of the tank in the air.

Situation 3:

Picture this; you have just taken the enemy flag. If you are successful at delivering the flag, you can take you're share of the tens of thousands of crystals in the battle fund. However, an enemy fires a railgun shell at you. You feel the impact of the shell, as you jump from a high place. Make your choice.

A. Go grab a piece of bacon, and hope you landed safely.

Delicious! But you lost the flag, so now you have to wait a long time for another opportunity of stealing the flag. Chances of landing on your tracks are about 1/99... 0 points

B. Shoot at the opponent, and hope you can do a backflip and land on your tracks.

This may seem like a stunt that can be easily done, but remember you are jumping from a pretty high place. Flipping, and landing on your tracks are highly unlikely. Chances of landing on your track are about 1/25. 1 points

C. Wait for the right time, and adjust your turret to cancel out the shooting force of the enemy.

This requires timing, but has the highest percentage of landing on your tracks. Congratulations, you won the game. Chances of landing on your tracks are about 1/4. 3 points

Why?

Counteracting the enemy shell's impact force when you're closer to the ground gives you a higher chance of landing on your tracks.

Point Count:

0: You really are into bacon
1-6: You need a little more physics knowledge to sharpen your skills
7-9: You are a boss at physics!!!

Nice! Penguin40 writes well for a 9 year old

Ya, seriously!

For a moment I forgot that this was written by Penguin...I just indulged into it so much..

Great piece Penguin...you have the art of good writing...*clap-clap*

As for the second article..I don't know, something made me do a hard face palm when I read that grab a bacon in the situation 3...

Maybe because the option was too awkward...like...who would be grabbing a bacon again and again???
