$5000 and Bronze paint - this is what Angels & Demons have already secured today !  The unexpected has happened: the titan named eGuards was crushed by A&D and moved to the Losers' Bracket with a humiliating 4-0 defeat.  During the whole season A&D has been the only clan to inflict defeat on eGuards, and today they proved their strength once again by gifting eGuards with yet another loss - their second one in the entire season!

The thoughts and opinions of some famous eSportsmen about the match

Hell.Rider (A&D): I'm very happy for the victory. We'll try to play in the same spirit! Epics were playing really well and during the whole season they showed a high-quality game-play. In my opinion the reason they lost was the lack of training. Unlike eGuards, we used to train at least twice a day during this short break and we'll do everything to get to the highest place possible!

kills_on_wheels (T-H-E_S-P-Y) (A&D):  Our team was training relatively intensely before our match with eGuards and we were definitely ready for it. We tried to play in our style and by our tactic the best we can right from the beginning. At the start, it seemed like we were pretty equal and I personally didn't feel like we were going to win, and even when we were winning I felt eGuards had a pretty good chance of comeback. However, as the match progressed I felt more and more confident in us (on the map forest) and we managed to beat eGuards with a pretty big score. I am sure technical difficulties played some kind of role in the outcome of the match, but to our defense we had one of our wasps and a great player in general, EDO123456, lag out as well. The next map was Barda, a very interesting map on which we play relatively well, so do eGuards. In the beginning, we had a very difficult time with holding the attacks of eGuards and they managed to pressure us relatively well, however as the match progressed we started taking more and more control of the map slowly but steadily. As a result, we managed to beat eGuards in the first round of Barda. On the second round, we had it much easier, we managed to pretty much control most of the map most of the time and thus beat eGuards with an impressive score. I think eGuards will show their maximum skill in the losers bracket. We thank eGuards for this match!

kirill.132 (Arm Pride): In this season eGuards showed an excellent gameplay, but knowing that there won't be LAN-Finals in the end of the season, Holy (holy_hero_alexxxxxx) lost his hope and got frustrated. This wasn't the game we were expecting from eGuards - a lot of missed shots, flipped players and elementary mistakes. In other words, they just "gave" the victory to A&D, because if they played at their best their opponent would have no chances against them. I've heard that eGuards' TS conversation was full of "bad words" which means they really had lost their hope and were playing just for finishing the game.

BeJlukuu_Xomka (ex VICtoreS): First of all, I think eGuards had substituted some of their main players and weren't playing at their best. In my opinion they did this to lost and avoid playing against Arcade.

A&D looked better than their opponents! eGuards couldn't develop a successful game since the very beginning of the match, and after two of their players had to leave the game their conversation on TS became hotter and this had major impact on their gameplay.  In my opinion EDO123456 did the best of work on the battlefield, he put into action all of the skills he's learned during the long years of eSportsmanship. Holy_Hero_alexxxxxx, on the other hand, tried to lead his team and take them to victory, but as we can see, his effort wasn't enough.

UDJIK (Arcade): In my opinion, it wasn't working out for eGuards from the very beginning. A flag was taken away very quickly, and it all went down from there, and it’s also possible that a bad internet connection had a negative influence on the team. The second map also began with unfortunate team play, and they were forced to play the rest of the round simply trying to catch up with their opponents.

A_R_A_K_E_L_Y_A_N (Arcade): The way I see it, the score was unexpected, and everyone expected more from Epic Guards. We all thought that they would take care of their opponents easily, but alas, A&D were ready for a fight.  But I figure that the lags also hindered the Epics from playing their game, which, probably, influenced the result.

Holy_Hero_alexxxxxx (Epic Guards): We will keep fighting till the end anyway!

Extras : (update)

Some 3 hours later, he got back to me with the following :

Holy_Hero_alexxxxxx (Epic Guards): We lost fairly. This can easily be said, seeing as there was technically the same amount of players on the maps. In these small (relative to the entire game) moments, A&D were able to outplay us. Well, and of course, it is darn disappointing that we just didn't have time to fight back – we barely start playing well together when another one of our players lags out. In essence, as is often the case, in these kinds of finals, the internet connection is what really decides the outcome.

strategic deception to hide there end game strategy!

I think from alex's response, it is quite clear that losing today was not at all their intention..

did you see the last chats of the team at the very end? They all left when there was still half a min. They accepted defeat. No strategy there

I wouldn't expect there clan leader to reveal his intentions to the whole team specially if he intends to lose a match.

Remember barrs_s, beside lag can be simulated easily.

I don't think we can compare barrs_s case with this one.  There was definitely something happening, edo, boogee, ranzer all had untimely issues with the 'lags' throughout the game.  pure coincidence ?  don't think so, definitely not after seeing the picture above.  However to go as far as comparing this to what barrs_s did is quite far fetched imo
