I just tried to purchase crystals in Canada. I put $4 there for 6000 crystals but I was charged USD $4.29. Do you mixed up the currency exchange rate ?

don`t forget that pay pal has increased there fees along with the exchange rates so its a no win for us now

So the price listed there is not the real price; they will put something like handling charges on top of it now, and we don't know how much the charges would be. BTW USD 1 is approximately around CAD 1.3 today, how could it end up with CAD 4 = USD 4.29 ? The difference is unbelievable.

and we don't know how much the charges would be. Unless you did online research and/or contacted those organizations.

They are being honest.

I think the English word you were instead looking for is that they were being deceptive.

Now being deceptive is like a knife, it's neither good or bad. It all depends on method and motive.

 

My issue (now that I looked into it) is what you and others have complained about:

- what people pay in Russian currency versus American currency

 

For the maximum option comparison:

7500 crystals per American dollar (via rubles)

versus only 3600 crystals per American dollar (via USD)

which equals MORE than double (2+X) the amount of crystals for those paying in Russian currency! :ph34r:

 

I guess that's their version of "Protectionism" to safeguard Russians and nonRussians who pay in Russian currency.

Either we have "Protectionism" or we have "Free Trade". It all depends on one's political preferences.
