Ping limit

I believe that there should be a ping limit. So say if a player goes above the limit of 250 ping, then they should be removed from the battle. I have had countless battles, where players had very high ping and they were useless to the team. They would not even leave the battle. They were just dead meat in our team. High ping players ruin the battles for us players.

 

If you agree with this, pelase vote it up. So Tanki can actually make a good change for once.

Its a good idea, but the limit should be increased to 700. Everyday some of us have to suffer from players who lag, and in battles dominated by those with more powerful equipment and drugs it doesnt help to have that one player on the team moving about in random places and flipping you half the time. 

 

The idea is perfect for stopping those annoying players who lag are in one place and apparently teleport to another place with no explanation other than lag. Get this straight: My FPS is always 50-60 and my PING is always 60-110. The highest PING i ever receive in battles is 500 and thats due to server lag.

 

And to all you other people just hating, get off your computer, sit back and think: should i hate and make people look bad or should i try and help them by helping them improve...

What would make sense is if some sort or average ping was put on the score board for each player and a link to what this means for the game and examples of how some people have solved it.

 

In many cases it's a poor WiFi connection or a poor ISP that is the cause.

 

Some players do not know how important the ping rate is.

 

I use a wired connection to my router and choose my ISP because they have a good reputation for helping gamers.

 

Some lag is caused by server congestion and we have no way to measure this.

Perhaps Tanki could show the server lag as a number or a percentage?
