Important Changes in Daily Missions Rewards

Tanki won't earn money anymore and will have to close the game . Simple logic . 

The whole "too many crystals ruins the economy" argument is fallacious. There was a short term drop in revenue from the smaller buyers. But remember: The more we earn, the more we spend, and soon we reach the higher ranks where everyone needs powerful equipment. That's when Tanki pulls in the big bucks: 250,000 for a paint job is more than they spend on painting the Verrazano Bridge.

I like the missions concept and I'm glad an adjustment has been made.  But the rewards are still WAY TO HIGH.  For a good battle that I win I'll get about 300 crystals.  I can collect 7 speed boosts and still get about 900 crystals.  This is still way out of proportion.  Yea, it's great getting crystals, but it rewards poor performing players.  The absolute most you should get for a mission like that is 25-50 crystals.  You removed crystal boxes which was a great thing, made the game a pure tank battle experience.  Please lower the rewards more, it has tainted the game.  BTW, would you add a clock that shows how long you've been in the battle.  Gives a better idea of how good a player is out there.  Thanks!

I was expecting this to happen since I am a pessimist and know that in life good things rarely happen and don't stay for too long :/

Although I understand their decision because I often got 3x daily missions in which all of the rewards were Crystals:

= 10 000k crystals / day only from missions is a bit too much. It boosted me a little but even though I now have 310k crystals I still feel poor since 1 Micro upgrade costs me 20 000+ crystals and if I wanna buy an m3 item I have to pay 250 000 crystals. Not to mention paints+MU's...

TANKI,i wasted 200k on trying to get XT mission on my high account and not got it!!!

1 at 100 chance to get it you say?

I not got it after 100 changes!

See my other suggestion. The rotation of missions is not random, and may even be day-dependent. I would have tried changing all easy missions for a couple of weeks to see if it replaced it with a harder one, and so forth. But I had XT and turned it down.

We go from a free daily system to missions which make us play battles that we dont want to play for rewards that are now to be reduced. I feel the game is loosing its way.

Scrap the missions and go back to the daily awards even though this will mean a few freeloaders logging in each day. Even at 50% reward the economy of the game will no doubt still be unbalanced. I am sure we will see the equivalent of the daily free awards (very little) spread amongst the missions. Under this scenario we will get very little for playing battles we dont want to play. That not a game i want to be part of.

I don't think that the rewards should be reduced.  The thing I love about the daily missions are that it makes you want to stay in battles that you may be losing such as kill "x" number of enemies or get "x" amount of XP.  If the reward system is reduced I would just leave the game as is would not be worth completing the missions.

 

One thing though.  I would take out the reward for collecting repair box drops as this makes you want to collect them even if you don't need them and so is bad for the rest of your team as someone else might actually need a repair box to heal themselves.

still holds true that...rewards are sometimes lower than the amount of supplies used in achieving those results..specially for people who are working or...maps which are not played

Tell me one thing what reward we were getting from daily gifts, sometimes 3350 crystals and 11 Meds, 33 DA, 34 DP +mines +nitros and ofcourse there were some days we were not getting those rewards when DCC gifts received. Then Players like you demanded for Daily Missions and you got it. What if you were getting the same amount of rewards in Daily Missions also. But Developers gave you way healthy rewards than anyone had expected. And now they are reducing the rewards to make this game balanced (Because Game economics were getting ruined) or you can say they gave you these increased rewards as a Gift and now everything gonna be normal again like before. One more thing i am not on the side of Developers or Mods, i am thinking as a normal Tanki player which is not a buyer and playing this game from 4 years. I've seen alot of changes in this game, ALOT. And Whenever they introduce something new to this game i give my honest review. {Edit:- Mission change cost should also be reduced by 50%)

I don't really want spend my time completing missions that don't give me good reward. I think that the rewards are down to low now they where to high but you should have just done a 10% - 25% decrease instead of a 50% decrease.

Two weeks ago we rolled out the Daily Missions feature and it has proven to be hugely popular.

 

As with every new feature we release, we’ve been monitoring all the data and statistics very closely. This analysis cannot be done on test servers (1) because these can never accurately predict what will happen in the actual in-game world.

 

From our observations, it is clear that the current system for mission difficulty vs reward is out of balance and requires re-adjustment. As it is, the system is affecting the game’s economy negatively (2)

 

We understand that the feature is popular (3) as it is. However, we must consider the long-term consequences of our decisions. If we allow the system to remain as it is, the game economy will lose stability, ultimately ruining the game for players.

 

Therefore,, as an experiment (4) we have lowered the daily mission reward sizes by 50%.

A few important points:

  • The rewards for daily missions that have already been issued will not be changed
  • Only the rewards for missions issued after the change will be affected
  • Missions with XT prizes will not be affected

We’ll be monitoring the daily mission statistics very closely, increasing or decreasing (5) rewards and difficulty accordingly until we find the right balance.

You tested the mission on the test servers before releasing them. People were happy.

Making the game fairer for non-buyers by giving better daily rewards was a good idea. For a while, I thought I would have a chance in the massive drug battles that Tanki has become. Buyer druggers win every game.

We need more free supplies to stand a chance.

 

(3)

Yet you ignore what your players want. Why do we even bother completing your polls ?

 

(4)

It is NOT an experiment, it's a permanent update.

Like the "no more crystal boxes" experiment ... -_- we are not stupid Tanki

 

(5)

Increasing or decreasing. LOLOLOL. Guess which way it will go.

 

 

 

Ah well, I had faith in Tanki again for two weeks. That is rapidly draining away again.

 

I now have no doubt that we will be completely ripped off when the Unity version arrives.

 

Will the promised complete account transfer still be offered ?? 

 

If not, I might just stop playing right now. Today.

I knew the developers always want to get more money, it was already hard to collect crystals without paying in game, i thoughts the daily missions would help the normal tankers to be equal with the paying people, but as you can see, the developers want to keep that huge gap in the game. This game requires no more skill at all! I find a lot of tankers with full pockets of money winning and dominating without even moving their turret! I'm not saying anything against the paying people, but I think it's too easy for them to dominate this game! Tanki became so bad! A lot of popular youtubers have already quit the game. Guess why??? The system is dis balanced! You can't win without drugging! You can't drug without paying!!! I'm sorry for my bad english, i'm french, but I'm playing Tanki for 4 years and I can easily tell it becomes worse and worse!

Yes, this is no great surprise. It was nice while it lasted but it was obvious the balance wasn't right, so it had too be done. Managed to get a fair bit of MUing done for no loss of crystals in the last couple of weeks. I think cutting by 50% will probably turn out to be about right in the end.....

I totally agree with you!! the game is too dis balanced!! You can't win without paying!

This sucks, the game already has a bad economy. It takes like a month for 1 m1 and then you are leveled up already. It should be easier and they should add more guns. This is the first time in a while i thought tanki had made the prices : aquirable crystals fair. Now it will be horribly slow.

omg, this is so true. why are crystal boxes gone. crystal boxes were great and now your draining us of money. you just want us to buy more crystals when we dont have enough. Free mmo game my butt.

its very bad update ... because much of your players is not buyer and they need a big rewards from the game because some time we feeling > so many different things between any player.< and this update is not important for buyers... its bad for simple players we hate it'' hope '' you enjoy another idea ''
