"An Error Occured" Unplayable after Windows 10

Recommended Posts

I have just recently updated to Windows 10, and shortly after i have realised that I can no longer enter battles.

Everything else works perfectly, apart from entering battles.

Everytime I enter a battle, I receive the message, "An Error Occurred"

I know my PC is able to run Tanki perfectly, as it has done before when I had Win 7.

I have tried multiple browsers, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer and Google Chrome, none work.

I have asked a couple of my friends who have Win 10 and some have the same problem , some can play perfectly.

I just want to know if this is a temporary bug in tanki itself?

By the way I have also tried the troubleshooting options, doesn't help.

Many thanks :D

It can be a bug with flash in Windows 10 can't say surely. Windows 10 just released yesterday give Microsoft some time they will definitely resolve the bugs. You can always revert to win 7 if you can't play on win10 (u must had taken a backup right?)

Sorry to know that you are facing this issue.

Ensure to install any pending updates and also update all device drivers on the computer and restart the computer to check if this helps.

You may boot the computer in a clean boot state and check if the issue persists. When you start Microsoft Windows, typically there are several programs that start automatically and run in the background that may interfere with the program. These programs may include antivirus and system utility programs. When you perform a clean startup procedure, you prevent these programs from starting automatically.

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow the steps under “How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot” in the article to boot to normal startup.
