valid Rank up exactly when you need to with a button

Great idea, but it would give players unlimited time to get as many crystals as they need to get a kit, they may stay major forever! :S

It'll take a lot of time , and a lot of things require higher rank :)

Holy god this is a horrible idea. It would make it ridiculously easy to hoard crystals at one of those ranks and wait until you're rich as heck and can instantly afford the very best equipment possible as soon as you level up, micro-upgrades and all. I could literally become an M3 at MAJOR because of this (due to microupgrades) and I don't even need to buy crystals to ensure i get enough crystals before i rank up and get placed against harder people. 

 

Also ranking up is actually the thing that makes Premium not pay-to-win, since with Premium you still gain crystals at about the same ratio as you gain rank. This would totally upset that balance though. 

 

Very bad idea for the game. PLEASE do not implement this.

I totally respect your Concern, but the player will not be able to gain EXP unless he ranks up "Pushes the Button".

I like that you put in the effort to making it work. But unless earning crystals were also disabled, this could be exploited by players. Get all m3s to m4s as well as all the drones fully MUed as well as all three equipped modules being 50%.

I mean you are kind of paying the price for that for not earning EXP, you can improve your Garage if you mess it up, how else would you do that?

However, i think there should be a timer for it, like 24H and after that you will auto rank "Time Limit"... the whole Point of this idea is to make Rank up Parties possible and very well arranged.

The timer sounds like a good improvement.

If a rank up button is implemented, then another feature would have to be developed and added at the same time. That is to create some kind of special container like a moneybag to have all your extra in-game earned experience points automatically transferred to that experience container. Then when you unlock your rank gain by turning off the button, you will then be able to open your experience container to add your saved aside experience points to your experience bar.

Not a bad Idea, but what if players stack their EXP and Rewards??

Yeah, but Players with bad garages will not have the Chance to improve their Garages ;-;, Maybe a Month or maybe the time period should depend on the Rank itself

The timer doesn't sound like a bad idea, but what if players are offline once the 24h is up, or choose not to join a battle? They would most likely have to rank up right when they join the next battle I guess. Or, instead of the timer, maybe a system that allows you to only get, say, 100 xp, before you auto rank.

Do you mean 100 xp before you reach the required xp to rank, or a time period of 100xp after you reach the required xp, to rank?

They will not still Auto Rank, they have to earn EXP for it, you can not Auto Rank since your EXP bar will be frozen for the next 24H meaning that you will not gain EXP.

Makes sense, this is a good suggestion that Tanki should really look into. It's a small feature, but it can remove the frustrations that come with creating a rank up party.

A warning that you have 100xp or less to complete before you rank up. This indicator would be optional as if one were to save the last few xps for a rank-up event.

I actually love this idea; maybe a button appears after you reach the exp for next rank. The only thing about it is that once that button is on, you can't earn any more exp (of course) and more importantly is that you can't earn more crystals no matter what battle you play or anything (the exact number of crystals is locked till you press that button basically)

Yeah, cool, that's what I was thinking. Hopefully develepors look into this in the near future.
