Rank up exactly when you need to with a button

This is a good idea...

But it might have loopholes...

Suppose a tanker has got enough EXP...but is intentionally not pressing the button...maybe he wants to stay at that rank for any reason??

Or second case:

Think of a lagging player who has epic lags...he earned his EXP but didn't got the button coz loading that button took a lot of time...so the exp earned by him in the meantime would all go waste??

we have 2 cases

 

1)exp keeps being earned after you fill the bar - someone can stay recruit forever and then one day after 140.000 kills just pop out a generalissimo.

 

2)a filled bar stops the experience gaining - players organize a party and rank up, no issues related (100-200 xp wasted? who cares)

1) wouldn't it mess up.....like say just a minute ago, I was a Major...and all of a sudden, I become a Field Marshal! Isn't that much messy when it happens to 100s and 1000s of players together??

 

2) you contradicted your own statement now...in (1) you said that they would be collected...and now you say they are wasted...lol..:P

1. Whatever the reasons are, I couldn't think of a bad one. For ex. a player would stay at a lower rank probably because he wants to accumulate enough crystals before facing tougher opponents at higher ranks. If you rank up too fast without getting enough crystals, you'll end up fighting strong opponents with little crystals.

And also, rankup parties which is a big deal nowadays.

 

2. Accumulation of EXP after the bar is completely filled is possible, but only allow the player to accumulate a maximum of 50-5000 EXP (depending on current rank). Therefore, ranking up 2 times consecutively is impossible.

 

If someone finds it annoying having to click on the button everytime you rankup, there can be an option in the settings where you can enable or disable this button feature. By disabling it, you'll automatically rankup everytime you completely fill up the bar.

Well, what if someone just doesnt rank up?

what if a tanker decides to remain at a rank until hes got the best equipment for his rank, then rank up?

And? Is that bad?

As I mentioned in my previous post, there is a limit to the amount of EXP a player can accumulate.

So you may be allowed to store like 50 EXP, after that, you'll either be forced to rank up, or lose any EXP gained after the limit is reached.

The rank up button should be triggered when we press a hotkey like "6" or "+". Any key on the keyboard which is not being used in the game so that if a person wants to rank while he is in air or something he could just press the button.. and boom.

Some people say + when they speak like Yes for + and - for No. I disagree with the commands. But Good Anyways :)

He doesn't mean writing "+" in chat...he is referring to a hotkey...just like you use Z, X, C as hotkeys for turret rotation...

Interesting question.

My opinion is an in-game playing time limit, it means there's a timer on near (or on) the button witch show you how long time can you play before the automatic rank up.

For example you can only play 5 hours in battles, if the time end you rank.

FABULOUS IDEA, ONLY ONE SMALL PROBLEM! usually players want to have the rank up be a cool kill right? I suggest that in addition to the toggle button(Obtained upon reaching the rank), The button can be a pause button that turns off earning XP(While you are getting ready) then you could turn it on and make the shot worry free!

but then u can't rank up in Parkour mode...as you also said before :)

you earn X exp in a normal batte. you reach the cap and you dont rank up.

 

you go in parkour battle and click the button, and then you can start collecting xp again.

Hmm, but what if you exceed the amount of XP you need to rank up and reach the rank after that. So you will have skipped a rank and not pressed the button?  -_-

If you not hit the button you will rank automatically after X experience or X  time the button appeared.

Well, useful for rank ups. Other than that, it is pointless.

This idea is just for rank ups so , why is it "Pointless" ?? <_<

If this idea will be implemented - just means that the devs agree the main idea witch highlight a bit the rank up thing.

I can just imagine a Gizmo getting all the way up without touching that button then having all 30 at once, assuming you can continue without clicking it
