Once you have aquired M3s, Tanki no longer needs you.

Let's face it, who is going to send $4000 to go for full M4s, it's your choice, you certainly can't work for it in the game, it will take you a year for each one grinding in the game.

From Recruit to Marshal you are able to aquire all hulls and turrets as well as a mass of protection paints for a few hundred dollars and the required grind.picking up new equipment on a monthly basis.

We've paid our dues, now we are thrown aside like yesterdays news.

If Generalissimos were treated the same way they were throughout the predesesing career, we would be advocates of the game, rather than the burden the game that Tanki feels we are to the success of the game.

Unless you are a staff member or a promoter through cybersport, you are no longer needed.

I work! All the games happen from 6am to 3pm in my time zone. Starladder staff told me straight out it would be years if ever, that a North American series would materialize.

The fact of the matter is that they just don't want Gmos to stick around.

We've outlived our usefulness.

The thing is the Gmos would be the biggest promoters of the game if we were treated with the same respect we had as warrant officers, but they choose to charge Gmos 20X the amount. Thats taking inflation of economy into consideration as well -__-

Tanki made XT available to Gens in a special mission, that is Tanki taking the first step to making Gens stay, so they could introduce more XT turrets and hulls and even make missions where you can make your XT tank have a sort of advantage.

It is a shame, it was never my intention. When I joined this game, I quickly became very enthusiastic,I enjoyed following Bruce Lunga and the atmosphere of the forum.

As I progressed in the game, I overcame the difficulties that rank brought with it and with some encouragement from some veterans, I found the team section and started on what I thought at the time would be my life from that day on in the game Later joining Clan Top Gun where I later took over from Damn_Slow who at the time started to feel the negative effects that were coming.

I have always had the players interests at heart and championed on their behalf in the forum for fun and fairness in the game.

I actively became aquanted with all the key players in the game and studied the game, company, industry, community, and social media.

I have often gotten the attention of the staff and owners of the game, as has many other advocates of this game. Though it is quite rare that any player gets any kind of recognition in their efforts.

I am a philanthropist at heart and would have liked to become a part of this organization and use my talents to make a positive contribution to this great game, I say great with sadness, as the game itself is wonderful, but the last year or so has been a whirlwind of disappointments and has left me bitter and dumbfounded at the direction the game has taken in this short period of time.

I see your point but the issue is and always has been that this has been a pay to win game from the start, supplies were always rare commodities purchasable by buyers to gain unfair advantage in the game, this was the main monitization model of the game, to increase revenue more they introduced micro upgrades further advantage on the battlefield for buyers.

This is bad Design and is killing the game.

The thing is, games don't have to use pay to win monitization stratagem to succeed, it's just a lot easier and less expensive to build on these models. but they are always short lived and ultimately they are doomed to fail.

most gismos refuse to upgrade due to having to pay or play ..why would you when you have nothing in the future to play for ..once you get to that level it`s now a waste of your time to stay..

well some have said for the gismos  to have more ranks i agree the more ranks we get the more fun from  it...it  would be  nice to continue on but also lower the cost in they system for gismos to be able to rank and get more crystals to use ....the higher the cost then why battle we loose interest in the whole system..

now one other idea is to make challenges for the good ranks and not e-sport battles not many can do those challenges but if they had a contest to see who is top player in tanki gismos then may be ..like bring back the rating they enjoyed it when i first started and they compared there rates to be top players ..

 

as a gismo with two accounts i can`t stand playing on them cause i have no ambition to play when there is nothing for the future for it..

you didn't understand what i wrote, i just gave a reason about people completing missions not about upgrades and anyone who refuses to upgrade is just dumb, you aren't gonna beat m4 buyers with your stock m3....

you didn't understand what i wrote, i just gave a reason about people completing missions not about upgrades and anyone who refuses to upgrade is just dumb, you aren't gonna beat m4 buyers with your stock m3....

i do understand what you wrote ..what i`m getting at is why pay for upgrades when in the end there is no changes in the game you can`t go any farther then where you are at besides contest to be the first and you know its the players who have been here the longest will always win...besides that all your doing is the same boring game over and over again..

 

why would i leave well there`s many reasons why ..but when someone tells you  your to old to play a kids game and i have no rights being here you really start to wonder why..

The core issue I have is that when I joined this game and decided it was fun and worthwhile to continue (getting involved with community in clans) I decided to become a buyer, at that time it was feasible to spend $20 or so a month over a period of 2 yrs and aquire everything neccecary to become a value in the clan system.

Just as I aquire my last M3 and assortment of great paints, Tanks SCRAPS the clan system, destroys the community, implements M4s and adds 2 new turrets virtually Making Generalissimos recruits in their ranks and forcing us to play vs buyers with no matching equipment or paints.

Tanki expects Generalissimos to fork out $120 a month for the next two years to get to the point we just spent two years and several hundreds of $$$ to atcheve.

This is not the act of a game platform that cares about its players and future of their game, but one of an underhanded greedy business preying on the most dedicated players to fill their pocket books.

It would be no different putting speed limiters on all sports cars reducing the max sped to 90km/hr and forcing them to pay another $500000 to have them removed, and by the way sports cars must pay $100/l for fuel as well

You are 100% correct, I have spend hundreds of euro's as well, and after ranking to Generalissimo and owning almost every equipment in the game I realised how much money I wasted on this game... I took a long break, but I simply couldn't leave Tanki so I made this account, just to have fun, without spending a single euro ever again. I have to admit it's a lot more fun to play at this rank (because you are generally more skilled than other players, ok I admit) but also because it's still kind of bearable without buying crystals. I hope they come with something good for the Unity version so I get motivated to play on my Gissimo again...
