Merchandise, Models, Kits and Money!

Hello everyone! This is a weird idea that flashed in my mind some time ago, and that i remembered only now.

What about tanki online selling some cool merchandise online for the english community? like an E-Shop page togheter with the Game, Materials, Tournament, Forum, Wiki and Help ones we have on top.

I know there is a russian one, but we should get one for Europe and America, with medium-low shipping prices for our countries.

 

What could Tanki Online sell here? Classic stuff like Mugs, T-Shirts, Pens, Stickers, Keychains... classic merchandise.

But here comes the idea i got. 3D Models of some Tanks combination like the kits 3D printed or made using classic molds and colors. Legend, Refrigerator, Redneck, Prometheus, Paladin, Cardinal, Jackhammer... the ones we see in the game. 

 

But what is the deal? simple. when you buy a tank, You get an In-Game reedemable code that will give you the parts of the kit in your game account. The code will not have any kind of expiration date and will be printed in a special card/under the tank/in whatever place and could be used only ONCE. those particular codes can be reedemed only when your account reaches a certain rank. maybe a little earlier than the regular game ones but not too early to unbalance the game. like ATLAS at Major, PALADIN at Lieutenant General, Legend at Brigadier, Redneck at Marshall...

the price would be the summing up of (Stock price of model + value of the crystals the kit costs + relative shipping cost + maybe a little discount?)

 

What could go wrong?

the 3d models can be produced en-masse for a really little price tag.

shipping via international companies.

the shop can be advertised in the main game page.

i can see awesome multimedia ads related to this.

you give in-game goodies that dont cost anything to the developers.

a promo-code system can be coded by a 10 years old.

kits are already here.

more money will flow in tanki bank account.

buyers will be happy to have a real life copy of their favorite kit.

we can solve it.

16 ciphers alphanumeric codes where only some thousands of the codes are actually linked to a kit. there are 36¹⁶ combination of digits here and believe me, they are a lot.

 

but if you want to remove the code issue, just make the player type in the nicknames when buying the kit. boom, problem solved.

Great idea this could be a great idea for tanki to get some more cash but one problem is that tanki online isn't really that popular in EN communities so the lack of popularity can be a problem.

that is the issue. the russian shop exists, as i said in the first post, but does not ship outside of asia.

think about this as a lauching feature of unity! starting your new game with those models being sold wordlwide to encourage moar spending players to join the game with an head start :D

I'd also love t have Tanki branded tanker's helmet.

 

For the action figures, you can interchange hulls and turrets with a simple snap-lock system.

the ability to purchase non-kits-related tank toys would be awesome. having your garage in real life to show off would be awesome!

nothing easier than snap joint, but the paints could give some issues.
