Problem with updating people in battles.

After that battle we all left, including Pizzarrific but it wouldn't update, entered the game and he wasn't there, pakistani_rocks also seems to have a different rank in battle. Pizza also left the game but he would still show up. When is tanki gonna fix this?

This is not a problem. It happens when the player gets disconnected suddenly. He won't be online in your friend list or in game, but his name will stay in the battle for 5 minutes (after disconnecting), giving him a chance to join back within the time. The name will be removed from the battle list after 5 minutes.

even if you just close the tab while being in battle and check the battle with

another acc, the account will still be there for a time period :)

It normally occurs when someone would close their browser/flash player suddenly rather than leaving the battle and then closing the program/browser. 

 

In such a case the player whom closed the browser/program would appear on the list for spectators(players in chat lobby) and would prevent them from entering or just blocking space; keeping one position full, but wouldn't appear in-game. Just hold on for 5 minutes. These players are normally put into pause mode and since pause mode automatically kicks the inactive players after 5 minutes, the lagged player leaves the battle.

Yea, I remember. This system for 5 minutes is made so that if there's any problems with flash player/browser that suddenly occurs, you have 5 minutes to try reconnect and after that you will be kicked.

Not exactly, sometimes it kicked me after ± 3mins.
