Hmmm..... maybe they should get a few more Forum mods to replay to our ideas?

Moderators are just normal players, who volunteer to help out. What's the difference between a reply (feedback) for the idea from a normal player and a player with an avatar?

The difference between "a normal player and a player with an avatar" is supposed to be that the last is somehow representing the Company (i.e. Tanki Online or Alternativa platform). No matter if he is paid or not.

 

I have been working as a volunteer in the red cross and as any paid employee I was trained, I was saving lives and I was responsible of my actions. If I killed someone, I was liable for that ... volunteer or not! And when someone died, I had to explain my actions!

 

You always call yourself out by saying "we are volunteer" ... but you do take actions and state Company positions. To a normal player view, you are the Company, your words are the Company words and you are not just "normal players with an avatar".

 

I understand that you have very little influence power, but I think that you should communicate with the Company where there is something you think is good or appropriate or convenient or fair.

You are completely correct and yes, we should have more communication with developers. However, they are so busy that not only ideas and suggestions, but even more serious issues like improving the forum layout and fixing glitches take a long time to get sorted out because developers are busy. Not much I can do here.

It's not your fault. The company should hold someone responsible for communicating with the players base. Not volunteer but on the payroll, a standard employee. This person should be on top of volunteers, directing the protocol of interaction between the company and the players base. And mods should receive directives by him (or standard courses on skype), and pass on to him the most important issues.

 

Standard procedure for most companies, I believe.

True. Tanki was so awesome when I joined in 2012 , till about 2014. Now I mainly complain about the game.

I began late 2014...everything at m0 is pretty balenced and very fun to play with. I expected more from this game....it was so fun. Now, everything is just kinda blurring together with little changes where a op turret comes and the previous turret one becomes scarce...what the devs SHOULD do, is make its so all m1 are at same rank, same with all other M upgrades. Then have things like m7. Balence.

Mods are there to regulate the game, they don't receive any info on how the developers handle the game, only rules to enforce, moderators don't openly reject updates and idea's, but they dont support them either

Whenever i see a post by RustyNail or Brubook here, my immediate reaction is -_- , then when i read it my reaction is -_-

All they do is complain. Not even constructive complaining(yeah, i read his "constructive" critisizm on the other page) He thinks that running tanki and all its servers all over the world is an easy and free thing to do... my reaction to that: -_-

Thats not even close to what im thinking, but its as close as any of the emoticons let me. Now, im not even 18 and i seem to know more about running a busness than them. I dont know much about a busness...i cant even SPELL the damn thing! And yet i know that with all the complaints about them not looking at our ideas(well, i came here cause they dont :/ but now im here to complain about some particular players in the forums too), the devs at least TRY. They do more than all of you reading this! Wanna know why? They have their game/company, and i bet none of you do.(if you do, just dont comment on that xD) Remember that there is also a Russian forum, and it seems most players are Russion, therefore, they are more likely to consider those anyways(dont quote me, im predicting here) and if someone here gives an insanely terrible idea here and there,would be co sidered a bit more there(though its probebly not gonna have much of a chance anyways). My main point is that just cause is doesent SEEM like the devs dont do anything and they just put out bad/useless updates, they are putting in good ones too, and that they are trying at least.

Also, regarding how some think that tanki is now a "pay to play" gamee but its advertised as "free to play",

Im not a buyer and i do very well in tanki!!!!! If you find that your losing more and more rounds and that the only way you can keep up is by buying, then STOP PLAYING. Its that simple. No skill required. No money required. No complaints....oh, thats why you wont quit..you wanna complain...Dont pester the mods and complain about the devs and "balence". If the devs did everthing your way exactly how you wanted it, you would complain still. Let them do their job, and you either play the game with a few suggestions or comments, or you stop playing in generall.

They don't give anyone room to say what they need to say, so why should you continue going back and forth with them? Indirectly calling you stupid with that term "Infant's logic" (Yes, although I've ignored seeing posts for either of them, I still saw the post you commented on from one of them, I just don't care to look who posted the comment because it's an obvious waste of my time. And if you notice, nobody really agrees with them except those of similar thinking. Glad you stopped responding).

 

If they want a fair game so badly, they may as well purchase a building, hire a development team of similar limited intellect, and create their own "balanced" game. Personally I'm sick and tired of hearing their howls. I'll be glad when there's 2 less "intellectual" players gone and everyone can stop having headaches.

 

They can talk tough, but the chances of anyone hearing them is minimal. Only thing I'll hand to them is that they're trying to make an effort; an invalid one, I might add. Still doesn't change my dislike for either one of them. You give disrespect, you're gonna earn it back in some form or fashion. Don't care if you like it or not.

 

Just look at their drugging topic. It went from what I thought to be a decent "discussion" to a full-blown battle between people who use supplies and those who are against them. No such thing as a discussion now; doesn't even deserve the right to remain open as far as I'm concerned. They've stated their 'facts', and 'points' but now it's gone too far. They're not even listening to what people have to say, as you, I, and many others have experienced first-hand. So much for them being grown men trying to work something out. If anything, they're acting like children now.

 

Kindly asking Brubook and RustyNail, or anyone else who shares their views: Do not respond to me as you have been blocked. Thank you and enjoy your limited time on the Game/Forum.

P.S. Yes, i admit i have bought some crystals in the past...but it was only a total of $10.I didnt even go through it very fast either. I used it on what i needed it for then i earned the last bit of crystals i needed for railgun m1. Note that i dont comp,ain very often about the game. I question, but i dont flat-out complain.

Excuse me fellow potato, this topic is basically for us to rant and complain about the devs not acknowledging our ideas, what else do you expect from this topic? Do you really expect comments like "Who cares if the devs listen to our ideas just play the game and mind your own business" in which case, you are not contributing to the game's development.

 

If the devs want to implement things the players like, maybe they should read this section of the forum. If they as a business want to keep their clients satisfied, this is the simplest way to do it. Of course, don't get me wrong there are some terrible ideas in this section that don't have a single chance in hell of being implemented but there are excellent ideas that are desperately needed that haven't been acknowledged by the devs yet. For example, @deadtoyou's topic "Gold Box Dropping" Information Banner.

 

Btw, as far as I see, the only major "complaint" that @Brubook has is a game-changing one, about drugging, a topic that @RustyNail happens to be involved in as well. They have excellent moral views and points, and I don't know why you cannot see that. More times it's the top rankers like me who have seen more and have experienced more monstrosity than you low rankers because up here is where things get serious. We complain for a reason. We do not complain just to annoy. We complain to bring about a change, a change that will affect everyone, mostly low rankers.

 

So in sum: This topic is meant for us to complain and rant about devs ignoring us so expect complaints.

I understand WHAT your saying, but its the WAY your saying thats annoying. I know it can be very frusterating at times with things, but i eventually learned to minimize it or say it slightly differently so that

1. Its a bit nicer

 

2. People will be more likely to read its and read my FUTURE posts.

 

I get that people are VERY frusturated with things, and im not saying they shouldent be, but that doesent mean thatthey shoul just write whatever they want weather it helps or not...

Devs and mods(or anyone)will be much more likely to listen to you if your not just i sulting them and pointing out every bad thing they have done...i agree that devs could have done WAY more things, and inplemented at least ONE original idea from the forums, but at least there is even a game in the first place! If they were jerks, they could just discontinue Tanki forever because of the waves of i sults about what they could have done or what they should have done, with a few little things saying good things about what they have do e and what they do good. Think from their perspective now.. imagine you were a dev and almost all you saw was things about what you SHOULD have done, but nothing really about what they GOOD in the past. You have to agree that there have been good things in the past 2 years, or else you wouldnt even be playing in the first place! If your even reading this then the devs have done enogh good to keep you playing! If you hate druggers in your rank and it all sucks and all that crap, play PRO battles and take off deugs and mu upgrades...geez...none of you get it... i get that you like venting here and thats why it exists, but really, try to think from their veiw....

 

Also, im pretty sure that helpers dont get paid crystals for saying "yes" or "no" to whatever the devs want them to...i bet that even if the devs descibed everything in precise details about day to day life, yoy wouldent beleive them and youd say that they just want to make themselves look good...this topic is just for accusing devs of stuff now based on most likely incorrect information.

From your experience please tell me tell me wage and net to gross ratios, server costs, scripting costs, translation costs, event costs, than taxations, exemption and deductions, countries double taxations agreements ... and revenues (just to mention something) in Russia, Malta, India and Singapore. Make some calculations from official published data and calculate everything.

 

After that we can talk about the business model and the monetization model. After that you should think about the services and "customer care" is the first.

 

When you will be able to do that, you will have a figure of Tanki (i.e. Alternativa Platform) money flow, and you will probably change your mind.

 

As I said many times, I wish any good business to earn millions, yet any good business is primarily focused to play satisfaction (balance in this case) and customer care (care and attention to players thoughts in this case).

 

What we say is very well explained in many posts and we also proposed many ideas and alternative to power selling (which is a failing business model in this type of business). So, before saying we are not constructive or proposing anything, have a read around.

 

Also, apart complaining about me and RustyNail as persons and telling us to shut up (quite unpolite btw), in this post of yours you don't say anything useful!

 

Finally you gave us a pearl of business management ... something that really attract players and make them happy, a top suggestion for a customer care:

let me tell you something: you 're too young (in Tanki) to know and too young (in age) to understand what this "rant" you 're referring to really is. When you grow a dozen ranks, please, by all means, come here and say that without spending real money one can play Tanki.

However, even if one spends money, the game is not fun. Why? Because it's too unbalanced. One either gets beaten every time, or beats every time. Being on the top, doesn't provide fun, unless there is a gene of sadism inside.. No sports, in other words.

Also, regarding my impoliteness (many times true) against the devs, mind you, it was them that first insulted me, personally. I guess I have the right to throw back their behavior.

Finally, don't be so sure that I "rant" because I end on the bottom of the score table most of the times. I am better than that, even using drops only. But what I can't accept is being beaten by a noob that can't even turn the turret, but so just happens to have a fully MUed M3 combo, with top paint and a trillion supplies at hand.

 

So, give your self a little time, and after a couple of upranks you 'll start changing your mind about a lot of things in regard to this game.

My point is that we made those considerations and calculations and we have a clear idea of Alternativa Platform revenues ... and we came to the conclusion that a good business should "sacrifice" part of their (huge) revenues for the playability (or balance) sake. In the end, in the medium term, that would make the business much greater, but you don't have to think with greed. As a general idea, the more you spend the more you earn.

 

My point is that I don't just talk without knowing the matter, but you said you know more than me. It may be true, but if it is so, just explain us! Or you say that I don't know anything and I explained you what I considered in what I said.

There have been many times I explained a lot in several topics, drugging topic included... Of course, that's a lot of reading too... but after the twentieth time I explained why Pro-battles is not the solution, I stopped doing that. If one wants to know, all I have been saying (as well others have been saying too) are in the relative topics..

Yes, you have a very good point. Iv written very large posts before and sometimes i think that people dont even bother reading it.....although i think that if PRO battles didnt help at all, then nobody would ever even say that.

I do undertstand that buyers do dominate even in PRO at times as they just have insane equipment at thekr ranks(lol, one time i joined a battle at and i was fighting a guy with m1 hornet and m1 twins....i lost)

I actually do understand hiw you feel when you write an exptremly large post and its very well written then nobody really looks at it.....one time i actually had a comment of one of my posts that was just " :o so much words......"
