Issho_Fujitora's post

The main thing is that: We don't know what the dev's think about our ideas.

I can only suggest that let Hazel or anyone else from the developers' team add comments to the ideas reach enough popularity and upvotes.

I have seen so many great ideas, yet none of them is considered..

Not sure. MAFIOSO just closes topics and says they are rejected. Other mods look for a weakness in your topic. I do know however that i once suggested a fullscreen button and the idea was rejected. Yet... here we are.

Predictable drops totally ruined the battlefield.

Players' behaviour towards the Staff is not always polite since when someone suggest something he WANTS TO BE ASSURED that his/her own idea will be accepted and implemented, so they get offended and start acting harshly towards those that rejected their ideas since they can't accept a NO as a reply.

It was my topic where Hazel said he was leaving. I didn't want assurance that my idea be accepted or implemented. I just wanted acknowledgement of the concept but it was not understood and treated with contempt and disdain by Hazel. His responses are there in black and white. But treat people how you expect to be treated and we'll all get along just fine. Him leaving wasn't about the topic getting a NO as a reply, more to do with the fact that the whole forum section is in his words, "pointless".

The topic I suggested still is misunderstood and I really don't care now. Maybe I could have explained it better but I also realise that greed runs deeper in this game than I originally thought. Lots of people are complaining about druggers and how they spoil gameplay but are not wanting to support rational and easy solutions that will tweak the balance slightly away from heavy supply users.

So it's a two-way street and quite frankly, we expect more from staff and devs. Once you accept these roles and positions within tanki, you need to act more responsibly and more maturely. Instead of using ridicule as a method of rejecting suggestions, why not try saying something like, 'thanks, I see what you're trying to do but I have concerns about x, y & z'. That I can respect and work with. But show contempt, sarcasm and disdain and you invite harsh replies.  Just sayin'.

English Community CMs ( and ) visit this section,

Well I invite them to that topic to see how tanki staff and mods actually responded. Improvements can be made.

English Community CMs ( and ) visit this section, aswell as our Admins and some of the Mods. As you probably saw, I am the one who made this section's Rules since I've sort of lived in this section for many months before now.. I'm one of those Mods visiting this section almost everyday, along with my colleague , and I assure you that your ideas and suggestions are read, all of them, even those which are completely random or nonsense. <<< But what difference does it make that admins and mods read this section? It isn't like your opinion matters to the devs. Yele has been after the devs to fix and/or provide a better version of /vote but that never happens.

Devs implement updates because they need to follow their plans towards the future of the Game and, meanwhile, you all should keep suggesting things to tweak and improve their updates or even think about something before them and might see it implemented in the future!

Exactly, as I said, many ideas are hard to realize since you simply explain and show off some general details, but behind every specific new feature implemented in the Game there are many hours of codings, testings and balancing and not only general concepts, so OBVIOUSLY implementing something new is not as easy as you all may think.

Suppose that I post an idea and it's great, it's accepted, BUT it might take many time before it will be implemented due to the things I said above!

Players' behaviour towards the Staff is not always polite since when someone suggest something he WANTS TO BE ASSURED that his/her own idea will be accepted and implemented, so they get offended and start acting harshly towards those that rejected their ideas since they can't accept a NO as a reply. <<< Maybe if the "staff" acted like professionals instead of kids we would be able respect them.  If I spend time to come up with and post an idea it is expected that the least that Tanki could do is take a few minutes to respond in a proper manner. "NO" is just completely disrespectful.

What I said above is one of the reasons started to check less often this section, but the main reasons are that almost all the Devs are focusing on the new Tanki version and most of the actual ideas are not compatible with it. <<< This makes very little sense seeing as Unity is supposed to give them more options and freedom. So how can these ideas be less compatible with a better game engine.  Did Hazel tell you this because that is pretty much what he said?

You should keep on posting suggestions since some may be compatible with the new Tanki Online version, but do not expect them approved or implemented anytime soon due to the reasons I explained above. <<< why bother because according to Hazel this whole section is pointless.

Hazel's words:

"Over this entire situation, by the way. I've been telling on this forum not so long ago that there are no suggestions can make into this game, because we are shifted our priorities to the new game. Most suggestions around here simply can not be applied to the future game due to difference in the mechanics. Which makes this entire forum section a bit pointless at the moment, from my personal point of view. And as long as my comments considered by this forum section community as 'sarcastic' and 'disrespectful' I am leaving this part of forum entirely.

You may consider yourself victorious over the evil developer."

Devs gives the last word over ideas and suggestions, they decide to approve them or not and, after that, implement them or not, but the Staff also has some words to say about ideas and suggestions since we are not here to forwards to the Devs only issues, we are here to forward to the Devs the ideas and suggestions you have posted and which seem really great to get lost in the huge amount of ideas posted everyday :) <<< SO like Hazel, you get to filter out anything you personally don't like.

In conclusion, nothing of what you suggest is lost: something might be denied, something might be accepted and lately not implemented and something might be accepted and then implemented.

We take care of what you all say and we love to see the effort you offer towards a better Tanki Online future, so do not give up and don't think you are not listened or read since we are here everyday :) <<< If only all this was believable. No disrespect, because maybe you believe what you say But I don't believe Tanki cares about this community.

I received the PM.

used to check the Ideas & Suggestions section almost on a daily base. This section is not a 'waste' in my opinion. Some ideas, indeed few of them, really get implemented, for example the daily missions suggested by @magnaboy2. Some ideas are ridiculous and will never be implemented. Others show quality and might improve the game. Devs do consider these ideas and weigh the pros and cons. The developers must always keep the future of the game into account and how they want the game to look like. They've got their vision, their own future plans, and that's a possible reason why some ideas that we think are quality ideas that really should be implemented, are being rejected.

hey, how about new maps or new supplies section. No1 have created new maps or supplies, but in those sections are so much good ideas.. And about fire+wasp format battles. I know, its pretty hard to balance fire+wasp battles, but nothing is impossible, so JUST DO IT :D :D

Actually, most where positive. The problem is they are only positive for Tanki, or should I say profitable

If they're not profitable, we wouldn't be able to play this game at the moment.

I agree 100%, Tanki needs to make money to pay the bills.  The problem is when a company becomes so focused on profit they become blind to the reasons why they are failing in the first place.  If I'm not mistaken Tanki's income is decreased and to make up the difference they have been forced to shift their focus away from making the game better and desirable, to making it more profitable.

Lets be honest and call it for what it is. Tanki needs money and they are using every trick they can think of to get that money out of the current players base. Maybe they should step back and look at the big picture. There are a lot of major issues that many players are complaining about and many of these have been around for way too long. The customer retention is falling because many players are reaching the point of being completely fed up with the lack of support and the total disregard of the major issues and they are leaving.

There is another way to make more profit. Focus on making Tanki desirable and more players will stick around and be happy to pay. These same happy players will talk and more players will join. Or Tanki can just continue to rise the cost of playing for those that are still here. They will leave and not recommend this game to anyone, in fact they may even try to discourage people form playing it at all.

Nobody is suggesting it be free for all. The question is: how do you earn the most profits while encouraging the largest number of players to pay?

As I mentioned elsewhere the cost to "buy" a tank at low ranks is really cheap. Why does it go up astronomically at higher ranks? Does it cost Tanki more money for that virtual tank at Gismo compared to Warrant Officer?

Imagine how much money Tanki would make if the tanks cost the same at all levels. Millions of people would be buying tanks at each level instead of probably a few thousand. I personally don't know of anyone insane enough to spend $700 on a virtual tank, but, I could think of 20 people willing to pay $35 for that same tank.
