Really depends on the developers. Multiple XTs' can possibly be a good addition to the garage, but it would depend on certain things; its impact on the overall gameplay or more which are better known to Tanki's game designers.

XT should only be for gismos and having different hulls/turrets just ruins it for me. They should do XT paint though that can only be obtained via missions

I have just found out that it's officially planned to implement XT versions of all equipment items. Hornet, Railgun, Wasp, Thunder, Viking and Firebird are already available and the rest will be added in the future. Follow the news for more information.

 

Although at the moment it's only planned for Generalissimos' super missions.
