That set aside, I don't agree with your last point :)

 

Now I can understand the reason of those billowing emotions and i can almost feel them oozing out of your heart (although I never had the opportunity to have a 8 year old sister myself !).

 

Buddy, the world is full of people like that Internet bully. And no matter what, you can not stay to protect your sister from real life or internet bullies without her herself feeling uncomfortable about it, (maybe in 3-4 years). 

 

Now before I say something else I would like to say that I have had extensive experience in dealing with bullies, both real life (even my own siblings) and internet. For me it has worked out in a positive manner. I have come to develop an attitude and a tough shell over the past 10 years, that has made me a juggernaut in real life that stops at nothing. The attitude has helped me everywhere, be it studies or social interactions or anything else. My first bullies were of course on the internet, and i decided to face them off even at that tender age of 6 years. Over the years, I have started enjoying to watch the bullies retreat back when they realize that they have reached a dead end in the form of me. When I am on the internet, my past time is to seek out bullies and almost torture them to a point that they rage quit. Even in tankionline when i see a internet bully in action I first simply take the bully's attention off from the the current person he is bullying and then systematically take him down by either taking him to a private battle or on the chat lobby itself.

 

I would rather say the better way to counter bullies and to teach your sister to do it would be to confront them instantly. Tell her to stop at nothing, because this world really favors the strong and wants to eliminate the weak !(even Darwin agrees to that :D ) Staying away from the computer is almost like the ship that wants to stay in the harbor in case there is a storm in the open seas. 

 

The thing is I agree that "never argue with pigs, they first take you down to their level and then defeat you by their experience". But equally true is "Diamond cuts Diamond", and if the menace of bullies is ever to be cut down, the only way is to counter-bully. 

 

Oh and yes !

If you need any additional help for taking down that person who bullied our lovely sister, feel free to ask for it ! I am sure he will learn a lesson of a life time and forget to ever come in the vicinity of a 8 year old :P

But I’m over that now. My new family and friends have helped me escape my old nature and start a new life as everypony’s friend and companion. I still occasionally have relapses, but for all practical purposes, I have totally changed.

FYI: 100% of the time it the victims fault! the victim makes him/her self a target, and then he/she opens him/her self to more bullying.

 

 

 

I’m going to let you in on a dirty little secret. Call me a sick cookie if you want, but I have a folder hidden deep within my computer documents labeled Prison. Within the folder are screenshots of every Tanki violator I have reported and gotten banned. The folder grows steadily all week, every week. You may very well be sick. Prison? LOL.

 

One of my favorite pastimes on Tanki is to watch chat rooms and take screenshots of all the chat violators I see. Violator Hunting is a satisfying, perfectly legal way for me to avenge my sister; I enjoy it thoroughly. Try it sometime. Oh pal, you really have a problem. And FYI, this in itself make you a bit of a bully in your own right.

 

c. Get off of the computer

 

This is when you should hit that power button. It’s a radical move, but Cirrus did it, and look what it got her: she escaped the bully. No one on the internet can hurt you if you aren’t on the internet.

 

FYI: Chasing someone away is fun for a bully.

Internet bullies are just like every other bully: they seem to love their life of anger and hate. The average Joe cannot fathom how they can live with themselves. Watching the Evil run free with a clear conscience can be very discouraging to the Good. Seems like you have a lot of hate too, buddy. Not to mention a bit of a O.C.D, and a bit of a hero/god complex. :D

 

 

 

This post is a good example of how one makes him/her self a target. Try to toughen up, son. It's a hard world and it ain't going to get softer.

'The bully has a sleepless night, wondering if they are perma banned'. Back in WO4 or 5, idk, I accidently shot someone with my rail and flipped them. They threatened to report and perma ban me, and I panicked. ( Of course I wasnt banned, I'm still here :D )
