Gold box drop statisics

hello, most of us know that the gold box drops at a chance of 1/7000. I would like to suggest that the the ratio be decreased by .5% every time a gold box drops. This way the bonus could be dropped more often in 1 battle.

 

It would work by decreasing from 7,000 to 6,999.5 to 6,999 to 6,998.5 to 6,998 and so on.

 

Im not sure if i did the math right but you get the basic idea... I hope.

Nice idea, but why not make the probability of a gold box dropping similar to Smoky's critical chance?

 

So, everytime the battle fund increases by 100, the probability of gold box increases from 1/7000 to 1/6999. After another 100 increase in battle fund, probability of gold box increases from 1/6999 to 1/6998.

 

Once a Gold box falls, the probability of gold box drops to a negative figure. And players will have to raise the battle fund so that the probability goes back to a positive figure.

 

Your idea makes gold boxes fall more often as time progresses, more gold boxes will lead to more gold boxes.

 

My idea allows gold boxes to fall more often as the fund increases, but when a Gold box actually falls, the probability is set to negative.

 

This, of course, prevents the happening of consecutive gold boxes, so that players can take a break, get their supplies ready for the next gold drop...

 

Consecutive gold boxes can sometimes disrupt gameplay.

Sorry, i wanted some way of the idea being implemented. Asking for to much would result in a big no no.

I understand what your trying to say. Recently i started playing XP. The battle fund goes as high as 30,000 in Polygon CP battles. It goes beyond that but i only play for 150 points because anything higher will make me tired of playing and it would take hours.

 

Plus the gold box is a bonus, and since higher ranked battles have battle funds that exceed 10,000 then the Gold will drop more often than tanki wants it to because of the fact that players die faster in such battles.

I like this idea except I think once one drops the chance should reset to something like 1/1000 because if it goes negative once it is positive the probability will be so high that another could possibly drop right away.

Im sorry what? What do you mean by positive and negative probability? I dont think that the gold box drop probability drops below 0. the only golds i have seen that drop right after another one is when the funds are doubled, or on the recent 50% increase in battle funds.

actually, gold chance to drop is 1/10000, they increased gold drop chance, when they removed crystal boxes... But the idea sounds great :)

Sounds like a nice idea, but .5 percent will barely make a difference. it should be a little more. Although it does sound strange that gold boxes get more common every time they fall? The way I imagined it was that it would get more rare, but hey, more golds for me. :ph34r:

what percentage would you suggest? .10, 20, 30, 50?
