Thanks... Downloaded the program, and it now works, but I now have another problem. The insert key used to place a tank isn't used on Mac. I have downloaded a program with a numeric keypad that doesn't include the key, so still searching. Maybe I should just leave this contest alone...

If you really want to, you can get a virtual machine like VirtualBox and run it through there.

That can't have been TTT or AE. They're tested safe. You must've downloaded or done something else. Do you play Tanki on Miniclip?

Before you give up on TTT, try "fn" + "return" (return is the enter key on Windows). I believe this is the "insert" function on a Mac. It may or may not recognize this.

Tried that, and others solutions. None work. It doesn't really matter too much. Do you know if there is a way to access controls in the program and possibly change them? I don't think there is.

You can't. It's just a guideline. I turn it off after I've placed my first few props.

Uploading and posting:

1. Once you are content with your map, create a new folder named after title of your map and paste a copy of the map file

2. Right click the folder and create an archive

3. Upload the compressed file to Dropbox or MediaFire

4. PM the map to the account @Karttoisseur with the title "TO Map Maker Contest." The PM should look as shown bellow*

Download a program called WinRar, right click on the folder you made, then select "Add to <folderName>.rar" (replace "<folderName>" with the name of the folder). This will compress it to a .rar archive. Another idea is right click and select properties. At the bottom right there should be a button that says something like "Advanced". Click that, then look for where it says compress to .zip. Continue from there.

Hi again, I have nearly finished my map now. There are a few things I need help with.

1. I cannot find double damage boxes or health boxes in the library.

2. Do I need to place spawn points or boxes on the ground, or one block above(?); Kursk has them on the ground.

I now know why some things are missing. When I load the libraries, I get a few errors saying that items won't load, e.g.

Yes. The map that came with the download works, but my maps don't.

I would suggest saving your maps somewhere else, deleting everything you downloaded, and re-downloading it all from the links provided in the main post. This error means that something is missing or corrupted. In other words, I don't think it downloaded properly. There are many things that could happen during the download.
