Garage scrolling bar

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

this may be a small thing and many of you probably won't care or don't even know about it. In the garage there is a scroll bar which is controllable with the scrolling wheel on your mouse. However, it takes a lot of time and effort to move the scrolling bar with the scrolling wheel on the mouse. Maybe the developers could change the scrolling speed? That would make it easier for me to use the scrolling wheel

Thank you for reading and I hope this little detail will be changed :)

Good idea, only it needs attention not to make scrolling too sensitive and one can't focus in a specific item LOL

Basically, I had proposed in a different topic something quite different but to the same end. That was a "three-story" garage instead of two-story. The bottom will be as it is now, all the items one doesn't own. Top story will contain the most usual items (the ones that are used like 70% of total time during last month) plus latest purchases and the middle story will have all the other items that one owns but seldom uses.

The spirit behind this idea is that the most usual items in the average garage are only a few, including a couple of hulls, two or three turrets and 3-4 paints. So, fast accessibility to these items is appreciated.

If you search "Mouse" in windows you get a bunch of settings for the mouse, change the tab to "Wheel", then the "Vertical Scrolling" to a number that suits you and use it.

However, it kinda makes scrolling through pages a bit harder. (I personally find it better)

I tried that, it doesn't work unfortunately

You do know you can just grab the scrollbar and drag it, right?

-Common Sense

Yes, I do, Use your common sense please to think of a reason why I would suggest this

That sounds like a good idea as well, but instead of having "frequently played" we should be able to put our own combi's together, like putting railgun, hornet and rock in box and when you equip that box you have it all.

i would like to see it go up and down in a side column instead of across due to the mouse wheel goes up and down and not across ..it would make my life way easier .

.also when you rank and purchased those items then is there no way to hide the lower rank items with a spoilers to hide it until we click on them to open if we want to buy at later time but most players wont buy lower paints once they pass those ranks and only keep so many in the garage for that rank

It will take up more space... let's say the most used items and paints should be in the front of the list, or you can modify the list to your liking, your Most used combo to your least used items,

How ever, a personalized garage may be a heavy load for servers... Unless it can be stored in user's pc (along with other "static" data..). I don't know.. any developer comment to this?

For me it works fast enough? But I don't have a big garage so I see your problem

PS Joost do try to change the speed of mouse scrolling again, because it really helps alot
