Some kind of armor hack?

Shot an M3+ Hunter without armor (max 315) wearing Picasso paint (30% off Shaft)

with an M3+ shaft DD max power = 275 x 2 = 550 damage.

This should have delivered 550-165 = 385 damage to a 315 hull, and yet he survived.

Is there some armor hack we don't know about that makes this happen??

Or have the specs been altered (Shaft nerfed) enough to account for this?

yesterday i was in a arena CP battle when a shaft mammy joined my team then the other team started to complain saying that player couldn't be destroyed(there was an isida & rail m3) i was watching when they attacked that player & not even a bit of its armour reduced 

they weren't lagging as they were able to destroy us

Your Shaft was MUed? What if both his hull and the paint were MUed as well? :blink:

Hunter can get up to 37 extra hp if fully MUed and Picasso's Shaft protection can go up to 45%.

Actually the devs might have added some exceptions to the code, for starters a hunter m3 maxed health without hammer protection would die from 3 shots if any mu'd hammer m3 shot it, yet it survives

Yes, I figured that in already. Even if Picasso reduced the 550 by the full 45% he would still have had to have the maximum hull  protection to have even 12 health left, according to my chart. Assuming he hadn't been hit already and fully recharged.

 

Another example at Dusseldorf this morning. One Hunter took -1650 and didn't die, another one was hit by 6 railgun shots while wearing Needle.

An Isida (I sneaked on his team) was wearing Mars (!) and hit by a railgun, and his health stayed exactly what it was! Shortly thereafter, a change in the battle occurred (to bright daylight) and I was totally FPS-lagged out of the battle, or I could have gotten video.

I suspect there are some players who have hacked the armor programming and are keeping it a close secret. Some Hornets are not even displaying the Double Armor above their tanks and survive ridiculously large attacks by multiple enemies. I am unable to explain the variance in Kill/Loss ratios here between fairly equally MUed Gizmos, where the Reds had been dominating other Gizmos earlier in the same battle. (from 11-0 to 11-41 is the classic raid profile)

I saw the same thing with two different Dictator Isidas. I know they are tough, but zero damage from a direct hit is kinda improbable.

i think this is some sort of hack 

if it is tanki will need to look into this & do something before it spreads bcuz this is worse than the jump hack

This is interesting. I remember in an XP battle a while ago I shot this player twice and he didn't die. So I shot him again, and again, and again until I gave up. I had no idea what was going on and I assumed it was either lag or I was going crazy so, I left the battle to get some air. The only problem is, that player had microchip. I don't know if the mod would risk his job by hacking the game which leads me to think that it might be some kind of glitch. I hope this is fixed soon and that it's not me being paranoid >.>
