How To Make it Easier For Your Isida To Help You.

 Share

Recommended Posts

My main gun is the Isida. Sometimes people make my job difficult.. So let me tell you how to let me help you to help yourself.

When you need healing. You must stay still if you can. I can heal you much faster and then heal others. I also save juice and reload faster to heal others.

When I fire on you, you must stop if you can. If you continue along your way, I CAN NOT chase you because this gets me killed  I must focus completely on you, then I get killed. If you don’t stop, you lose your chance to get back your full hp.

Some will fire a shot at me to thank me. Yes, your welcome. But this sometimes knocks me back and cost some time to recover. This is valuable time wasted when there are a lot of people who need me.

Some will show me appreciation by dropping the flag to let me grab it. Thank you. I appreciate you gratitude, and your welcome. But dropping the flag can cost the team a point. The only time you can hand off the flag safely is when our flag is captured.

If you want to thank me just type: "Thx Isy" when you get a chance.

Thank you and you welcome.

Amendment:

I omitted two important facts.

1. I can’t heal you when we are both exposed to fire. I must first take cover and then heal you from a point where it’s safe, or safer. Some people get mad at me for not healing them. But sometime a situation is so dangerous, I’m unable to help you. Sorry. That’s the way it goes sometimes.

2, If you are getting pounded to hell and you don’t move, but just stay there and not take cover, then you are wasting my time. I can’t stay and keep healing you. I have other things to do. The exception is if you are tearing the hell out of the enemy. Then I might support you for a time.

I can heal my teammates fine if they are moving, can easily chase them with my big Dictator M3,which isn't represented by it's slow speed but big HP pool...

Firing a shot at you and you get knocked back? xd Do you use wasp or something? :P
Also it's best just not to type or shoot at an isida after he healed you, just type something when you die.

The flag thingy is true, very smart of you,it's better to keep the flag when you have an isida next to you then to drop it for the isida, because he can't heal himself xd

Good guide, but I would add the equipment you use,for different combos with Isida there are different rules and they may not always meet this topic tho :P

isida should be nerfed

Hope it's a joke. Isida can't shoot 2 or more enemy in same time and it takes a while to kill even a wasp (except supplies).

I am not using isida, but all isida's are week (except some PRO's) and easy targets. If devs nerf isida, it will be useless. Think about it

LOL. Yup…always a laugh when someone contradicts me when I’ve been playing for about two years, with the Isida for the entire two years, obtaining the rank of Major General. I think I know what’s what with the Isy. With two years of experience with the Isy, I’m stating facts not opinions.  Thax.

You don’t chase people down to heal, you’ll get shot up to hell. Best to stay put and heal tanks that are easier, faster, and safer. You’ll be far more valuable if you change the way operate. Trust me. I’m very good with my Isy.

But the other comments you made are right on target.

Reply to Dilsharox:

The Isida has been nerfed/castrated. The cone of fire was reduced, with makes it much harder to kill or heal. You should be nerfed.

If all you have is the m1 isy at you rank, then you need to make getting the m2 Isy you top priority. If you’re playing against colonels’ and generals, the m1 won’t be of much use to kill. You can still be useful by healing. Trust me on this, I’ve been where you’ve been.

I forgot two important facts in my first post. These to important omission will be added to my original post as an edit. Please read my amended post. It’s important.

A hiding isida? get your butt out there, i dont care how many times you got to respawn. You know the isida can kill to, right?

your team mate is in trouble and you gone running because it's dangerous?  when it's dangerous is when he's going to need you the most!!

lmao i can just imagine you saying  "sorry we need to go some place quiet".

ps: if there is an isida with you, and there is shooting going on, its a good idea to get between the isida and the guy shooting, to protect the isida with your hull as it keeps the isida safe to heal you and keeps you in the game longer. Everybody knows to shoot the isida first.

and if its a firebird or freeze then attack it with your team mate, kill it quicker, then heal your team mate if he still around.

Isida's job is to heal someone and someone's job is to make sure isida is safe. That's how this situation is to be played. They shouldn't be mad on you, well, except if someone is total noob. -_-

LOL,I always laugh at people who think because they have been playing for 2 years with just a single gun are the pro of the pros,I've been playing for 4 years and trust me,I've been using Isida alot more then you,not only on this account, also on medium ranked and low ranked accounts. I'm stating not opinions, but I'm sharing my experience with my hull-turret combination. :P But tell me,have, you played with other turrets, and do you know how to confront them?

Don't chase people down to heal? You'll get shot up to hell? It's not faster,it's just safer, but you're slowing down gameplay by sitting on 1 place like a duck thinking if I heal my ally now he'll be able to get the flag and return with full HP(ok overreacted here but you get it). You need to chase your ally(ies) in order for him(them) to be able to be safe and secure his(their) attack.

If you're scared of someone who might shoot you because you're healing your ally, then you are not the right played to be playing with Isida. An isida is a dare devil, knowing how to take risks and should know that if you stand behind in a line with your ally that you're healing and the enemy which turret has no pierce(smoky-thunder-twins-ricochet-hammer-vulcan),you are safe. Other then that is the only situation you should seek for some nearby cover,or make you and your ally back off from a freeze-firebird.

Play smart think smart, because you play only with Isida doesn't mean you know everything aout it and you know how to handle every situation. Try playing with other guns-hulls too. It's like trying to get a six pack,it's not all about doing a million crunches, you must also do other kind of things like swimming, rope skipping etc...

very true and having experience with all turrets gives a better understanding of their capabilities and more importantly their weaknesses.

I have spoken with this kid before, he has his mind set and is unfortunately not open to learning anything new.

There's really no differences (to my opinion) between 2 and 4 years. Both times are a long time, I think after a few years we both have equal.  experience.

Not counting my smoky, a "0" stocked gun, for which I never use, I have only two guns: the Isy as my main, and the thunder as a secondary,  used only when I feel like being a piece scum snippier.   And yes, I know how to defend myself against all guns, I would think I would after all my experience.

You wrong about chasing people. And you wrong about it slowing game play. And I never said anything about me camping, Don't know where that came from.

From here on...Please read very careful.

It take 10 seconds to spawn and maybe another 5 seconds to get back into the grind. That's a lot of time when added up. Judging from how you do business, you spend a minimum of 2 minuets in a 15 minuet game on the sidelines spawning. With my calculator, I have calculated that on a fifteen minuet game, you spend at least 10% of the game spawning. But I'm guessing the the number is closer to 20% or 1/5 of the time spawning.

Just try my strategy for a few days. Focus on staying safe and alive and don't chase people. Focus on the easier teammates to heal. You heal more team mates, make more points, and earn more crystals.

I actually put a lot of focused thought in my strategy. Please don't post to argue point me. You're wasting you time.

It will be hard to change, but try it.  I'm sure you find that it works very well. You'll spend less time spawning and more time healing and gain more points and  crystals. I promise.

Good luck.

You are now on my Ignore list. I won't see any more of your asinine post.

Now go lay down. heal.

no need to be like that, you need to learn to accept some people know more than you and instead of being childish about it, learn from it.

none of us know everything and the best way of learning is from each other.

no you heal and stop hiding. Fatal-Inaction.

Different players like different strategies,I'm not a mult,I like fast paced action. I'd rather die and secure an attack then I do stay at my base.

How often do you think people get damaged while defending? There are alot more people out there who attack that need more support from Isida then there are defending.

My thought is mostly focus on staying alive as long as possible and not spending to much time spawning. I believe my strategy of will keep me in the game longer and heal more people.

But as you said....different strategies for different people. I guess we can agree to disagree, I still like to see you give my strategy a try....more focus on personal safety so as to spend less time in spawn. I think you might like it if you give it a try.

But then again, you've been around for a while and grown comfortable with a certain strategy....I can understand that.
