Would We Gain Anything By Contacting The Aliens !?

Think about this:

What if, that another civilization was just getting started?! Then we can see how we possibly evolved :) we won't gain technology <_< everyone thinks aliens are ahead of us, but no one thinks behind us, and their are over 5 billion earth like planet, their is a 99.999999999999999% chance their are aliens, their must be a planet just like earth! In fact one of the earth like photos, it was almost covered in all land, (which was green which means life) and 1/4 water.

WE ARE NOT ALONE

But I bet you, if aliens look at us, they'll say "what the hell? Humans killing humans? These people are i***ts!"

We would gain heaps. Like rulers who would put us to work.

Because think about it. The aliens have to be either as advanced or more advanced to be able to contact us, so they'd probably think of us as lower life forms.

Stephen Hawking in short: It will be like Columbus and the Indians, but we're the Indians. Unless they turn out to be a species which regard us to be more than primitive life forms holding little intelligence (fat chance, they'd know all the bad stuff we've done to ourselves and the planet), we would likely just be seen as a bug on the sidewalk. 

 

On the lighter side, they could give a lot of new 'stuff' but that probably wouldn't be a good idea considering what we've done with most new tech: killed each other with it.

According to evolution it would be impossible for them to be able to communicate with us even if it were possible, the closest aliens may not even be within 500 million light years away and they may not even recognize or take notice of our messages, its a dumb idea really and i don't know why scientists are interested in the slightest of an idea which could potentially kill us off permanently
