Except those who dont have other browsers installed, and installing a new browser for young kids is a bit much for just an internet game. So yeah, rip.

Download Unity Web Player - "Download Unity Web Player"

 

After Downloading Unity Web Player Go To: "chrome://flags/#enable-npapi"

 

It Should Come Up With "Enable NPAPI" highlighted Like This: Enable NPAPI 

 

Click "Enable NPAPI"

 

Close Down Chrome OR Click Relaunch Which Will Appear At The Bottom Of The Screen.

 

Then You Must Be Able To Play The New Tanki Online Unity (If It Comes Out)

NPAPI is an old plugin, are you sure Unity will run on that one instead of the newer PPAPI?

I don't see any logical reason for Unity to use NPAPI.

 

If chrome has stopped supporting the NPAPI, more browsers will follow.

Unity is more optimized than something like flash player.

I wouldn't worry to much about it, there will be graphic settings in Unity too.

 

And wasn't the Samsung galaxy S2 rated as the minimum hardware requirement for the phone version? :P

Actually I heard that unity tanki is going to be both a browser game and a downloadable cause tanki unity will also be available to

phones and tablets

There will be both a down-loadable and browser based way to access Tanki Online when Unity comes out, don't worry.
