Gold box drop zones - permanent marker

Hi. The gold box drop zones have a marker that shows up when gold boxes are about to drop. It would be a lot better for players if the gold box marker was permanent, just like other box types like "double damage" and "double armour".

 

This would be better for players so they do not need to hunt and search for the gold box marker.

So what you are saying is at the start of a battle you will be able to see the gold box marker (if gold does drop in that battle) and it will stay like that for the whole match? That would be a horrible idea. Everyone will know where the drop zone is and it will be much harder to get golds.

He might, just might, mean all of them. That way you could figure out where golds fall and I think that if this was implemented all of the gold markers should disappear except the one where it is going to drop, or else it would be like the gold before PD.

The developers considered this option, but they decided that such a system would be too distracting and it would ruin the look on many maps, since the number of gold box drop locations is huge. Having all of them show up at once would just make the battle look like a page out of a colouring book. If you are suggesting that only the spot, where the next gold box will fall, shows up on the map all the time (even before the siren), then that's also a problem since players won't have the thrill of trying to find the gold box drop spot in time and players will camp on that spot, ignoring gameplay and sabotaging their team.
