Temporarily leaving

Hello everybody!

 

Most of you don't know me, but for those of you who DO know me: I will be taking a break from Tanki Online. I feel that the rules concerning language and abuse to other players is too strict, to start. I also feel that there isn't much respect on the game, considering the vast amount of reports made every day and the fact that the congratulatory persons in the game are not to be found. After the Commentary competition I received much hate, and that is not the primary source of why I am leaving. It is not one person who has made me decide to leave Tanki Online, but it is a majority of people who lack behaviour and I sense their attitudes towards other players in the game aren't as they should be, as I would say in 75% of the battles that I enter or on the topics on the forum that I see there is a heated debate between two or more players, usually more when others choose to take sides.

 

My final reason that I am leaving, the one that is the primary reason I am leaving, is because I started to hit a slump in Tanki Online where I am not as good as I used to be. I may be over exaggerating, but I am at a point where I enter the EN3 server automatically and I have to join a battle in which the other players are 3-5 ranks higher than me. When I opt to go to the EN4 server I see that there are not many battles concerning my rank is higher than most of the other players in that server.

 

Now I should discuss the date I am leaving and the date I will return. I am starting my freshman year in high school this year, so I won't have much time during the year and I would like to focus my attention on schoolwork, so I will not be joining over Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break, or Spring Break. I will join when school is over for me. I have indicated my dates I will leave and return below:

 

Leaving date: August 31, 2015

Return date: June 25, 2016

 

Looking at the long term future, that means that at most I will only be playing Tanki Online for two straight months during the summer. After my freshman year, I will be a sophmore, then a junior, and finally a senior. After this stage, I will go to college and I will be away for four years from Tanki Online, subtracting two months during the summer in which I will probably be on vacation some if not most of the time. I may decide at this time next year that I will want to leave permanently.

 

I wish you my best. I am hoping all hateful comments on this topic will not be tolerated by the moderators, concerning their targeting on me (I am not exaggerating) since the Commentary competition.
