Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)

If this is such a great update why did  they not change PRO battles too. It makes no sense. Oh I forgot, they want us to buy PRO battle passes.

The cruel Tsar aristocracy which oppressed the common masses (not the rich noble class) resulted in the Russian revolution (and the french one)..

 

similarly,

 

The ruthless "updating" of the game by Tanki devs, blined by money, oppressing the majority of players who aren't purchasing crystals would result in total downfall and bankruptcy of the MMO game of Tanki Online.

Tankers!

 

Today we’ve introduced an additional way of ending standard battles. From now on, in addition to a time limit, each of the three standard length battles will have a score cap as follows:

 

Deathmatch (DM)

  • 15 minutes: 50 kills for one of the participants
  • 30 minutes: 70 kills for one of the participants
  • 60 minutes: 100 kills for one of the participants

Team Deathmatch (TDM)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 70 kills for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 100 kills for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 200 kills for one of the teams

Capture the Flag (CTF)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 5 captured flags for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 10 captured flags for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 20 captured flags for one of the teams

Control Points (CP)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 50 CP points for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 100 CP points for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 200 CP points for one of the teams

The battle automatically ends when either the time limit or the score cap is reached. For example, a 30 minute CTF battle will end before the 30 minute time limit, if one of the two teams captures a total of 10 flags.

 

This change only affects standard battles — PRO ones remain unchanged.

 

The aim of this update is to make battles with uneven teams or a clear winner end sooner. This way, the tankers involved in them won’t need to wait too long till the next round starts. This means the action should become even more intense.

 

IMPORTANT: the current parameters are not final and can be changed based on the analysis of the game or the feedback provided.

A 15 min battle will end in 2 or 3 mins. Who will want to play these battles?

Meh I usually only play pro battles, plus the flag cap for small maps like Hill and Island will make the battle end too soon.

 

 

Hideous for some maps; some battles will end far sooner.

 

 

Are you kidding me? 50 kills is possible in 8 minutes, I can usually get to 80+ kills in a normal dm and 5 caps??? That is SO little!!! Tanki please reconsider this update as it just stinks.

 

 

That's not fair at all since a 15 minute match where we could get more than 1000xp will be reduced and we will get less crystals... :(  So, if play in noise and I win in 2 minute then whats happen??? now the battle will last shorter and will be poorer...except some of us 

 

 

hello,

i an saying that 5 captures only for 15 minutes and capture point 50 for 15 minute battle is not not good it is not giving the funds to us i enterred a game and i got 52 crystals for winning side thats not good.and plus the sale is coming we have to earn crystals so we cannot earn them specialy big ranks cannot spent 15 minutes for only 100 crystals we cannot buy m2 and m3s with this. also specially for people like me who dont buy crystals and thats it. you should remove the capture flags and capture point thing.it looks really good  in DM and TDM.But not in CP and CTF.

I don't like this idea.

 

Score cap should only be for Pro Battles.

 

 

Or simply remove the cap and let a 15 minutes battle lasts... 15 minutes.

 

Also, Polygon CP 15 minutes = 90 points if one point is captured from the beginning to the end (but it never happens).

 

Serpuhov CP 15 minutes = 450 points, and still the limit is 50 points.

 

 

5 flags on 15 minute battles huh. That's way too short.

 

 

5 flags and 50 CP is way too low for many maps.

 

 

This is good but u guys need to increase the amount of kill or capture of cp now these limits are way too low, battle is ending sooner with low battle fund, if u guys double the limit now we have for ex-15 min = 5 falgs u guys should make it atleast 15 min = 10 flag, then i think this update will be fantastic :)

 

 

I just played sever rounds of CP in Serpahov. Battles were averaging 2.5 minutes. That is absurd.

 

Whichever team gets the points first, wins. There is no time to turn the battle. 50 point in CP with five control points seems to take just over two minutes. If the other team can fight effectively and keep taking points, the time pushes over 3 to 3.5 minutes, but the initial side getting points has it before the other team can do anything.

 

50 points in CP is absurd. Absurd!

Why not be patient guys ???

 

We have all seen tankionline giving updates and tweaking them later. If they say it they do it ! I have  never been disappointed in my 3 years of playing tankionline.

 

We need to give them some time instead of rushing it on and following the sheep mentality by just repeatedly posting what others already have !!!

 

Stay Patient and give them The respect they deserve and the Time, they need. I am pretty sure they will tweak everything soon.

 

You will not be disappointed.

well if we don`t give them feed back they wont know if it works or not and this clearly do`es not work for players and in time will fail and look bad for tanki also when players stop playing all together

Another thing that developers rushed into the game without thoroughly going over what the update would effect.

 

Just like the Daily Missions, they delayed the release by a few weeks, then even by the time it was released they didn't look over it thoroughly because they had to disappoint everyone in the whole game 2 weeks after release.

 

 

Tanki, you need to thoroughly look through all factors and effects of what an update will do before implementing it.

 

All I can say about this is

I think this isn't a good idea because now no one will get so much battle fund or even much experience with out a pro pass :( so sad!!

Don't be fooled, people! This update is aimed to stop crystal farming on small maps with most players using Firebird, for example. The update essentially cuts the crystal supply to the battle funds, trying to force us to wave our wallets more, pathetic.

Point 1: - once again this shows just how bad the developers are. It took less than the first 5 comments here to show how stupid this idea is. It s fine that Seymon says that they will look to change it in the future …… but if you could not see these obvious problems before you made the changes ……. You have to wonder if the developers really understand this game!

Pont2: - the players are responsible for this bad update ….. learn to play fair!! If you have a flag lead than stop capturing ….. if you outnumber the opposition again stop capturing and wait for the teams to balance. The reason why matches quickly become unbalanced is because one team are acting as complete noobs.

WHY THIS UPDATE SUCKS

1. This thing sucks because for battles in small map end in 2 minutes, and no one wants to play 2 minute games

2. for CP in maps like kungar with 5 points, the battle only lasts 5 minutes, and like i said no one wants to play these absurd short games

3. everyone wants gold boxes to fall and with this new update, it's practically never going to happen, thank a lot tanki

4. the majority of the comments here are negative

 

WHAT TO CHANGE

1. if you think this update is good make a limit to every map individually, because every map is unique

2. you could just throw this update in the trash like you should've with all the other updates that everyone has hated

 

P.S. TANKI IS GETTING WORSE

Ok, tankers, its time to read between the lines!! :rolleyes: This is just another way the "powers that be" are trying to make it so they do not have to give away so many crystals because, (1.) with "forced' shorter battles, the scores will be smaller and thus the amount of crystals  tankers earn in battles will be less. This is just the second time in recent weeks "game management" has changed the rules to benefit themselves by not having to give out too many crystals to tankers, thereby trying to encourage  tankers to spend money and buy crystals, thus putting more cash in their own pockets. (2.)The other way this was recently done was when the Missions feature began and some rewards were large amounts of crystals, but within just a very, very short time after Missions started,  they cut the "rewards" for completing a mission by 50%, thus again, in the the case where crystals were the reward, tankers now only get half of what they had been getting when they completed a mission. Again, "their" published reason for making this change did not lead you to believe that was they case in so many words, but you can easily began to read the writing on the wall.  Ultimately, they would rather we spend tons of money on crystals rather than winning them in the game, :angry:  Duh!

Why have you guys forgotten about the test server?

 

 

Edit: If you guys had never messed with the difference between PRO battles and normal battles (and had just made PRO pass cheaper like a reasonable person would have), this would not even be an issue :mellow:

Not Liking this update. All battles I've played ended way too early with LOW battle funds. I've played Small, Medium & Large maps with  Flags, Kills and Points. It seemed not to make much difference. All ended early with alot of time left on the clock. There have been many times my team has been down flags, kills or points and have made a comeback taking it right down to the last second - Now this can't happen. Your fighting along trying to make a come back with your team and BAM game over with alot of time on the clock still. Tanki - This update need to be REVERSED or keep it an option for when you are creating a battle.
