Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)

Kill limit in DM is pointless. Drop it. Don't change it. Drop it.

I've exceeded 60 kills in 15 minute DMs. I often exceed 40. So, while it may seem 50 kills is a reasonable limit, what is the point? Why shorten a DM? There is no point to it. The battle cannot get lopsided. If only one tanker remains, the kill limit cannot be attained. The tanker waits, or abandons the battle fund.

Again, kill limit cap in DM is pointless. It is nuisance. Annoying. Drop it.

Or simply remove the cap and let a 15 minutes battle lasts... 15 minutes.

Also, Polygon CP 15 minutes = 90 points if one point is captured from the beginning to the end (but it never happens).

Serpuhov CP 15 minutes = 450 points, and still the limit is 50 points.

Agreed, CP caps aren't that straight forward and will need revision.

Pont2: - the players are responsible for this bad update ….. learn to play fair!! If you have a flag lead than stop capturing ….. if you outnumber the opposition again stop capturing and wait for the teams to balance. The reason why matches quickly become unbalanced is because one team are acting as complete noobs.

A good game doesn't let the players screw it up. You basically need the players to babysit the game. You can't pick babysitters off the street. This is a public game.

This is not a good idea overall... A lot of people that aren't new that play on second accounts, search for long battles to get way ahead in first place and get more crystals.. People can easily do 200-250 kills in 60 minutes in a Polygon DM, now only 20 minute battles are left for them, where everyone will get the same share of crystals per kill. This defeats any excitement that DM's still had, now you might aswell just go to any map and shoot mindlessly. Having the option to put both time limit and objective limit in PRO battles was good enough.

The only good aspect of this update is putting an end to raiding: No battle fund is worth raiding anymore!

Raiding mostly happens in pro battles with big battle funds. Ya it will never happen in normal battles anymore.

Tankers!

Today we’ve introduced an additional way of ending standard battles. From now on, in addition to a time limit, each of the three standard length battles will have a score cap as follows:

Deathmatch (DM)

  • 15 minutes: 50 kills for one of the participants
  • 30 minutes: 70 kills for one of the participants
  • 60 minutes: 100 kills for one of the participants

Team Deathmatch (TDM)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 70 kills for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 100 kills for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 200 kills for one of the teams

Capture the Flag (CTF)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 5 captured flags for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 10 captured flags for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 20 captured flags for one of the teams

Control Points (CP)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 50 CP points for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 100 CP points for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 200 CP points for one of the teams

The battle automatically ends when either the time limit or the score cap is reached. For example, a 30 minute CTF battle will end before the 30 minute time limit, if one of the two teams captures a total of 10 flags.

This change only affects standard battles — PRO ones remain unchanged.

The aim of this update is to make battles with uneven teams or a clear winner end sooner. This way, the tankers involved in them won’t need to wait too long till the next round starts. This means the action should become even more intense.

IMPORTANT: the current parameters are not final and can be changed based on the analysis of the game or the feedback provided.

That’s it, tankers. Enter the game, try out the new score cap system for yourselves, and don’t forget to share your feedback on the feature in this topic. Good luck!

We want the update with info about players garages, golds, hours played with a gun or exp and so long...i wait it for 2 weeks ore 3 and still nothing yet.

I like the idea of it, should stop people from capping flags/points at the beginning of matches when the other team are still waiting for players. But as said above, each map needs to be looked at individualy

it is an excellent update, semyon because this will inhibit the raiders and takeover teams from destroying the games.they put mults to destroy games.but as some pointed that some maps require a larger cap as such battles will finish earlyplease look into it.

i also wished ratings were introduced slightly earlier than told.Illya told us that the ratings are coming very soon but it has already been 1 month since that announcement was made.

Too much vodka for the devs recently?? :)

If the real problem is unbalanced battles, why don't you make it so that the difference between the teams does not grow larger than a cap? e.g. 15 mins CTF will end if one team captures more than 5 flags than the other – similar but simpler to the (unsuccessful) rules you set some months ago to finish battles early.

In individual battles I don't see the point at all. If a couple of players are too strong (and /or drugging), people can any time leave and go find another battle. If the strong players overdo it (eg drugging too much) they take their chances to be left playing alone - that's fair enough. Isn't it?.

Thank you for addressing what is, to me at least, the single largest problem facing the game.  The changes seem so simple and I haven't logged in yet to see how they work but thank you for doing something.  It was badly needed.  Hopefully this fixes it.

for me ctf needs tweak.rest is fine....for 15 minutes.10 flags

30 min-20 flags

60 minutes-30-35 flags

this really needs to be done in small maps like ping pong, hill as these are smallest maps and they will end very quickly making them very unpopular.

Umm... 100 kills in TDM in 30 minutes is a little bit easy to get isn't hard to get. Battle on maps like Madness will end really soon. 100 kills in DM in hour is really easy not only for winner. 2 kills per minute :o. 5 Flags in Ping-Pong or Island , I don't know if the 5 flag battles in these maps are played longer than 5 minutes. And battles like Madness CP, Dusseldorf CP and Berlin CP are totally ruined. 50 CP ? 3 minutes. -_- 200 CP ? Less than 15 minutes.  :o Tanki, change this as soon as possible.

I don't have any problem with this new system(update). On the same time for us it's meaningless because we are waiting for player's info & unity update. ;)

Err, i think you need to make it optional. The full duration of battles really is important. Players will just have to repeat the game in order to get the same reward...
