Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)

I think we bashed the devs too much.

I do not think it was done for money or to cap crystal farming or collecting.

 

I think it was done to replace the huge failure of the early end system.

 

TO, this is a game changer. You do not implement a game changer without any testing at all. At least, someone needs to play a sample of the different maps, different modes, etc. before doing this. Why wasn't it tried on the test servers? The flaws are so obvious the blind can see them even without doing test runs on the test servers.

 

Don't bother analyzing the results and the feedback. You will end up trying to redo the failed early end system, which you could not figure out how to fix.

 

When we discussed the early end system, we made suggestions, we provided criticism, etc. as to how it should be fixed. It is very difficult to fix. You can't fix it by doing what you did here. Either drop it, or fix the obvious cases only, e.g. spawn killings, or 10 players pounding 1 or 2 players on the other team.

 

They key thing is that there has to be a difference and a ratio. E.g. the ratio should be < 20 and the difference > 20, so you do not kill a game at 1:0, but you kill a game at 21:1 or 20:0.

 

Anyway, this is just too complicated to fix.

 

Just drop it. It is good to know one's limit.

 

If you could fix this, you would have fixed the early end system. So,

 

Just drop it.

As it was said, the current parameters are not final. Further tweaking can, and most likely will be done. Perhaps we'll do exactly what you mention: the cap will be individual for each map.

Better get to that, eh?

They doing this updates for money

This limit=Harder to get crystalls+buing pro pass+buing crystalls

No falling crystall boxes=Harder to get crystalls+buing them

New battle system=harder to get crystalls+buing them... bla bla bla

And more updates!

With the missions you and everybody else are getting more crystals than ever before.

The problem is that the lion players. the ones with the best weapons, (lucky choices I guess), and that also get all the golden boxes, are getting this crystals from the missions too.

 

However, it should be easy for most of you to take a week or less to earn the amount of crystals required for the PRO PASS.

at the first when i see the game will be ended in cp battles if u have 50 captures in 15 mins

i thought  that if one of two teams get 50 captures in 15 mins the game will be ended not all team .

and also all kind of battles .

Agreed. I played Rio CTF/15 min maps. I track my Experience/Crystal earned per minute. It is a pretty standard number regardless of winning or losing the battles over the time I play.

 

My Crystal earned per minute was 50% off of my average. This is the basic problem w/ the new update. I was actually on the winning side more than the losing side and I still had a 50% loss of Crystal per minute. My Experience earned per minute was spot on my average/standard number.

 

Obviously the lack of Crystal is due to the flag cap. I am sure the caps are the same in the other battle modes--poor and arbitrarily picked numbers...Regardless of the map balance, it kills the Battle Fund growth. Your cut of the Battle Fund shrinks because the game is now stopped prematurely. There is no point in joining a 2-0 or 3-0 game anymore. I have seen many posts about joining a losing side, swinging the momentum & pulling out a win (which in turn bumps the Battle Fund considerably). This kills that option as well. Kills another intriguing reason to join an unbalanced map...

I am sorry, but this does not make sense to me.

 

If your score earning (that of everyone in the battle), which is equivalent to the growth of the battle fund, your crystal rewards should be equal, not less or more than your average.

 

The problem though as @creeperskelly said, is that there is no time to work out synergy between the team or time for the losing team to come back. If you lose in the first minutes, you lose. By the time, you start to get steady and start earning scores, the battle is over.

 

It is kind of like instead of playing soccer as two halftimes of 45 minutes, you make it 90 1-minute periods. By the time the players reach where they can shoot at the goal, the referee whistles!

Huh... Looks like a replacement for Early Battle Termination system. I gotta say though, we won't be seeing high fund battles in Non PRO mode anymore..

if i don't play hard in the game i can capture more than that in 15 min Alone  :(

this update may be very good on conditions

if u make it in row

means for example if one team get 50 capture point in row the game ends .

or

if one player of two teams get  50 capture point the game will be ended .

and also all kinds of battles .

This is actually a good idea, but the numbers need to be toned down for CP, DM, and TDM.

Tell me, in which battle should be higher battle fund

 

70-10  or 45-35 CP ?

 

UNBALANCED BATTLE DONT HAVE HIGH BATTLE FUNDS

If you were being cynical you could suggest that Tanki plans are to make this game suck .... so we all move to the NEW Tanki .... losing all our garages, cystals and money all ready spent. It will be interesting to see if Tanki gameplay will be the same in Unity ..... I doubht it very much !!!
