Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)

45 minutes is gone?

 

The CP score cap need to be adapted depending on the map.

 

Polygon CP 15 minutes = 100. There is one point. 1 minute = approximately 6 points. So 15 minutes = 90 points. Polygon CP 15 minutes will never reach 100 points.

 

Rio CP 15 minutes = 100. There are 5 points. If one team get the 5 points, it's 30 points in one minute. The battle can end in 5 minutes.

 

The score cap for Polygon should be 70. So, if we use some logic, it should be 350 for 15 minutes Rio CP, because there are 5 points.

 

Rift CP 15 minutes should be 210. And so on.

 

70 for one point in 15 minutes battle.

140 for one point in 30 minutes battle.

280 for one point in 60 minutes battle.

 

Easy patern, no?

 

Because, why put a score cap limit in Polygon CP 15 minutes that is impossible to reach?? And why put a score cap in Rio CP 15 minutes that can be reach in 5 minutes??

 

I hope I made myself clear. I see the point for a score cap if one team is way above the other team. But don't make score cap that have no sense.

This is good.  Atleast we wont have a ctf 50-0 .

Anyway it is better if you rework the old battle closing system.It literally fails. Its a better idea then this because the automatic reaction of people when they see a lopsided battle is to leave. Many people leave then the battle ends. Unfortunately due to this update battles have become like a race to something like 10 flags in 15 minutes. Battles should not be like this.

cp battles for 15 min for 100 cp can be done depending on who is winning and who is loosing but if its a good battle then no it stops at 100 and do`s not give players any chance to do a come back victory if they are loosing and forces the loosing team to leave or just take the measly peanuts they get

 

for other battles it all comes down to the same thing if players played then it would be a challenge to win and its good but on the other hand with the new system no one can do a come back victory it just forces players  to choose to pick either the  game is over before you even get a chance to play a full battle..

 

so in the long end of it this program might work on paper but not in the game and players still don`t understand what tanki`s future will be with this new program

 

I think the thing that should be taken into account with CP battles is this is just a stop gap. If I remember correctly in a V-Log it was said that the developers were working on making the winnig team score increase slower and the losing team score increase quicker to try to make CP battles more competative and attractive for people to join even if it looks like one team is winning by a big margin.

 

I suspect any future change to an early end limit will be tied to this and any changing now is a distraction to getting this updateto us asap.

A major difference between CP and CTF is that even if you join a losing battle in CP the reward is much better than being on the losing team in CTF.

 

This is why it's pointless to join a losing team in CTF, but, tolerable to OK to join a losing team in CP.

 

They need to increase the rewards for the losing team in CTF to encourage people to join. Otherwise more and more CTF battles will end up with lopsided teams.

 

Why would anyone want to join a losing team in CTF and deal with the frustration to get only 100 or fewer crystals?

My Theory :

Previous TO Flash was so good that TO Unity could not be as successful. Hence, by introducing more gameplay buggy updates in TOF (score caps, maybe low daily missions rewards), spoiling the game as much as possible, they can put reworked versions of those updates in TOU and when those are combined with other new candies, people will be inclined to joining their "free" transferring plan.

 

I'm afraid there are some costs of switching to TOU, so they are trying to make benefits outweighing the costs. This is one step towards it.

as long as they give me the same rank and my equipment and crystals in TOU I have no problem transferring.

That is a lot more complicated than the cap update. I can't seeing being able to roll it in without destroying CP completely for a few weeks.

They are just too overconfident, to give them the benefit of the doubt. This situation hopefully improves with experience.

I once got 40 crystals per minute on the losing side of CP. I once got 170 crystals for playing less than 2 minutes on the winning side. Naturally, both happen rarely.

Yeah.  They are convincing me that they do not know what they are doing.  I expect this to continue over into TOU.  What this means in terms of their business plan is that I have not spent any money on this game since last Christmas, and cannot foresee spending any in the future until they convince me that they will stop adding modifications that make it progressively less playable and fun.

Waste of time to continue posting feedback. They simply do not care. They don't listen. They could care less what we think.

That's the sermon I preach. But people complain anyways.

 

I wonder if this attitude is a Russian cultural thing?

I like the update. Instead of wasting time waiting for battle to end when there is no one in the enemy team , we can cap the remaining flags to distribute the fund. This update is great.
