Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)

Well I know this Update is not final but still I'm gonna share my opinion about it. People can't enjoy CTF battles in short maps like Sandbox, Island, Bombox, Pingpong and others, Battles in these short maps will be finished just within 5 minutes and nobody would get higher funds in such battles which means hardly 150 battle funds per battle :wacko: (While we used to make around 700 - 1000 funds just in 15 minutes battle) the solutions I would like to recommend to make this update more cooler are.
 

1. Increase Flag limit in CTF battles or remove this update from CTF battles. (In sandbox 15 minutes battle around or more than 20 flags can easily be captured by each team depending on their skills.)

 

2. Make different flag limits for each map.

Trust me, if a game doesn't get updates regularly, players get bored of the game. Look, when unity game will be released, this one won't be updated anymore, and guess what? I doubt more than 1/5 of the total players that do know the game they are playing will never be updated anymore, will actually keep playing the game. Everyone will switch to the new game, not only because it's better, but also because this game will most likely become a "dead game", with no updates, less players, servers, etc.

 

So I think updates is a good way to keep the game, developers and the community active, and improving (or at least, that's the goal) the game.

We thank you all for the feedback provided, guys.

 

Our game designers are already analyzing it. Most likely, score caps will be increased for all battle modes tomorrow. DM caps might be removed completely.

 

We are also looking into the feature of having different caps for really small and really big arenas.

 

We'll keep you updated.

Why always messing up , i dont understand the logic or just things have to be more complicated.....this update makes no sense also seems devs are lazy recently to test updates seriously before adding them to the game.

Nicely said, Mia! I don't know if some moderators are afraid to downvote, or share their real opinion on the update. 

i have noticed less that  go against tanki then speak there minds..which makes no sense this is a free world and everyone has a opinion and has the right to air it..so good job for the ones speaking up ...

This Update is worst for me, as i play small and medium maps a lot. they are ending within 5 mins and im getting very low crystals for each maps like 100 to 200 crystals for island like small maps for a play and another problem is our team were about to win the match and at last moment speed tanks like hornet and wasp will come and they drug a lot and capture the flags and we loose,as we were using heavy hulls Please Undone this update and make it earlier as it was.Lot of people are unhappy because of this update. some players planned to quit tanki.

Maybe your internet is too slow, or try to clean up your flash cache.

 

I have played on three machines (two at home, one at public library in the central U.S.), getting 50-60 FPS with 70-150 PING.  Clean my Flash cache every day, after finding that cleaning it after every battle had no effect.  I am guessing that moving to New York or Moscow would clear the problem up.  Also do not have the problem at all on the Brazilian servers, along with much less lag, but my friends won't open accounts there and I do not speak the language.

I never spoke about spending money in this game now, although I totally agree with you.

 

I don't understand this update. Why fix something which isn't broken??

Basically to improve the game. Although, again, I have to agree with you. Tanki should focus on fixing things instead of improving things. Exemple: hitboxes  <_<

Making different flag limits for maps would be quit long for the developers to code, as they need to have a precise knowledge of how much it's unbalanced in each map. If it's slightly unbalanced, then they should add +/- 5 flags, if it's seriously unbalanced, then add +/- 15 flags, and so on.

 

The perfect balance would be that 50% of the time battles end when reaching the max. flags captured, and the other 50% because of the time limit. But that's very hard to achieve, as the knowledges to know for that are incredibly huge.

 

All in all, good ideas, and thanks for sharing them with the community!

I think developers are all currently working too much on Unity and they let chamber-maid to do this update :D

Well Here's a Joke 

 

Just now went i was playing on noise map CTF, the gold box siren suddenly scream. At that time, our team score 4 and the Max Flag score is 5. This tanker go and capture the flag and that's 5th flag . So haha there goes the gold box :D  :D

Double or more the limits. the actual ones do not even give time to the teams to form. an average battle lasts 7-8 minutes.

 

Today average battle: 8 minutes and some seconds.

Some days ago average battle, same map, same mode, double time (15 minutes).

Look how only double time gives team the opportunity to organize and play intense battles, tripling the fund for a better overall income.

 

Basically the fund has been decreased again. 1/3 decrease on 15 minutes battles.

It's so bad update .. let's look on something  , on newbies baattle , they will end 15 min battle in 3 mins! which they will only cap5 flags on 15 mins , i don't support  that update , wish u could understand me.

Remove this update please because I liked playing standard battles for the FULL time on my alt for fun, and I can no longer do that -.-
