Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)

Don't the developers understand what this update does??? Do they not know that when the game ends people leave the game??? I mean like I have seen games right in front of my very eyes lose all of their players in <15 minutes, which never ever happened when there wasn't score caps.

If I understand well' this is as if you are turning our traditional and our dear normal battles to PRO battles!!!! Now we'll get less xp, crystals for each map played. Moreover, now I'll have to play 20 matches of 15 minute until gold fall!!!! Please, stop ruining the game. Lastly, you decrease our supply and crystals by 50% and now you are reducing our chance to get more crystals in battle. :( Please return everything as it was, better work on the early match ending... This would be a better update

This has always been pretty touchy look what happened during the first implementation (here)... they ignored the players anyway! I know this is their game and all but just leave the game system alone it has never needed to be fixed!

So what about the hundreds of players who were looking for a challenge and like to join losing teams to make them win? You just pissed all of them off! After this update, every battle will be played for 2 minutes until one side shows they're more powerful, then the other team leaves and the side has to just run flags to complete the battle. And when a team does try to join the losing side, the other team would just catch all flags before the other team can settle in and start, thereby resulting in all games being boring and non challenging.

I must play and see, but these limits seem absurdly low. I was not joking about the CP battle having more time changing sides than in fighting. The winner of the three full rounds was whoever got the points first. The skill requirements were trivial.

 

You say the battle fund per hour will be unaffected. The assertion is nonsense if instead of 60 minutes of fighting, there is 35 minutes of fighting and 25 minutes of changing sides and waiting for players to join.

 

I suspect you have thought of this as an alternative to the early-battle-end mechanism for the lopsided battles. If so, it is very unlikely to help.

 

Sure, CPs with one team hundreds of points ahead in 15 minutes happen, but they are uncommon unless the teams got lopsided.

 

I'm frustrated and feel compelled to write. I will stop and play. I'll write more later.

The real reason for this update is for TANKI to sell more crystals. The only way to get into a battle worth anything is to enter a PRO battle. Since we do not receive PRO battle passes as daily bonuses anymore, we have to buy Pro battle passes.  You can hardly play if you don't spend money.

I think it should be based on the flag/score difference, e.g. if the battle is at 100 : 95 flags, who cares? Why end it? Same for other modes, say CP 50 : 40, why end it?

Maybe the point is to make every one quit the Flash version to play the Unity version ^^

it sure looks like this is what there plans are and boy it will back fire on them due to most players want to be able to play both system`s but we forget tanki is trying to be a dictatorship company and tell players  they have no choice and yet there the ones who told us the players that we would be able to have both system`s ..well what hog wash ..trying to pull a fast one on us ..well players even thou most are younger kids the others who are older realize what is going on it this game../ company// someone is only trying to make a name in the company to look good and well there not looking good with players ..so its time to rethink all of this mess and kill this idea right here and now before you loose even more players..oh wait that`s what tanki has in store by the looks of it to destroy the uk market due to the fact there loosing money ..did tanki not put out a notice to players in the past month stating they need money..please i want to know ,,and do tell.

 

..i want the boss to speak and not no staff member on this.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like this update, and think it will help for a more even fund turn over. A cap inherent to the time is a good idea.

 

Though as was suggested by someone before in this topic, one would think that the cap should be at least relative to the size of the map. The gameplay on each map varies, and without a counter measure update from the developers, I don't think this update will end as it was originally intended to be.

I like the idea of individual caps for each map, but I think that it should be the DIFFERENCE between the scores, excepting deathmatch, and not that is the highest the score can be.  As it is, this will drastically shorten the battles, and I'm not sure that many tankers will like that.

Today we’ve introduced an additional way of ending standard battles. From now on, in addition to a time limit, each of the three standard length battles will have a score cap as follows:

 

Deathmatch (DM)

  • 15 minutes: 50 kills for one of the participants
  • 30 minutes: 70 kills for one of the participants
  • 60 minutes: 100 kills for one of the participants

Team Deathmatch (TDM)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 70 kills for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 100 kills for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 200 kills for one of the teams

Capture the Flag (CTF)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 5 captured flags for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 10 captured flags for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 20 captured flags for one of the teams

Control Points (CP)

  • 15 minutes: a total of 50 CP points for one of the teams
  • 30 minutes: a total of 100 CP points for one of the teams
  • 60 minutes: a total of 200 CP points for one of the teams

The battle automatically ends when either the time limit or the score cap is reached. For example, a 30 minute CTF battle will end before the 30 minute time limit, if one of the two teams captures a total of 10 flags.

 

This change only affects standard battles — PRO ones remain unchanged.

 

The aim of this update is to make battles with uneven teams or a clear winner end sooner. This way, the tankers involved in them won’t need to wait too long till the next round starts. This means the action should become even more intense.

 

IMPORTANT: the current parameters are not final and can be changed based on the analysis of the game or the feedback provided.

Whoever thought of this is a total M___ with a capital M. Playing on Kungur CP lasts only 3 minutes and you keep switching sides. nobody was happy there! Not only it interrups the play, you also do not get any crystals!  I got just 9 crystals! are you kidding me? Do you guys test this before you roll it out or are you just expirimenting on us? 2 thumbs down all the way and if I had more thumbs I would use them all.

This is good but u guys need to increase the amount of kill or capture of cp now these limits are way too low, battle is ending sooner with low battle fund, if u guys double the limit now we have for ex-15 min = 5 falgs u guys should make it atleast 15 min = 10 flag, then i think this update will be fantastic :)

Buena idea, pero no me favorece, juego CP 60 minutos en Polygon y en todo el juego hago un promedio de 7000XP con 100% score multiplier pass, tambien la cantidad de cristales que son 2600, ya no saco lo mismo,,,

The Tanki developers have no clue what this does. Just like they have no answer for the "very clear" error message "en error has occured" or the brown screens when you respawn where you can see who killed who but not the map and then and you have  to exit the game and lose your battle fund. I understand it is a free game but this is getting silly.

I think the CTF Score cap should be "win by two." That way if it's a really close game, the other team doesn't just have to reach five. It would be a win by two flags situation. But other then that, with some tweaking, I feel this could have some potential!

The fund growth speed is not affected by the round length. You will just have more rounds to play. It does not affect the battle fund you get per 2 hours of playing for example.

 

Community's feedback will be analyzed, which can lead to changes in the caps. For now, I'd advise to play more and get used to it. Shorter rounds are not a bad thing. It's just different. And you can always create more 60 min battles.

 

This does not affect the chance of a gold box drop in anyway. There is a chance it will drop every time the fund is increased. The length of the round does not affect it, you just get more shorter rounds to play. Same with you share of the battle fund. You will be getting less per round, but you'll be playing more rounds. So, it stays more or less equal.

look as soon as a battle ends people leave and then we gotta find new battle again and again and when u r in a battle u r in a mood to fight but continuous change of side and starting over again is quite irritating . i am not saying this is bad update just either make it optional for players or increase the liimits thats all we are asking hope u will look forward to it . Thank You. :)

BS: the aim of this update is to make it even harder for players to get crystals without paying. It is already so hard to catch golboxes (at least for me) and with this update the chances of it dropping are reduced even further.  Of course, pro battles are not affected by this because you need money to get in them.

I was getting very fond of ping-pong ctf in the last couple of days, now it will be impossible to play it. I like to know how much time I well spend on a battle. The game basically will die because of all the side changing and players leaving after a couple minutes. It's not even April fools... Anyway I was probably going to stop playing when once Unity came, as my almost brand new PC already has trouble with lag, fps, and with new graphics it would be even harder for me (and I assume a lot of players who don't have a new PC like mine) to play and enjoy because I also don't like the new graphics. 

Not looking good, the last two news were very, very bad (and I won't even get into the change in daily rewards).
