Episode 57 of the V-LOG talks about the new Tanki

Disliked this v-log because of the score cap. Devs failed with the early ending system, so they came with the score cap.

At least they increased the score cap a little, but Dusseldorf 30 minutes CP is still bad for example.

About the new Tanki, I hope I can get better than 40 FPS. Anyway, it's cool that the maps look like the current maps. About the turrets and hulls tho, I'm not so sure I will like it.

Although the V-log mentions it initially supporting "PCs and Macs" that will also include Linux, right? Since it's supposedly meant to be straightforward in Unity to export it for Linux (or Chrome's NaCl) I hope at least Linux will be included even if maybe not initially as well tested.

I imagine if Linux supports the Unity engine then it should be able to run the Unity Tanki game, correct me if I'm wrong here.

1. I hope because summer holidays are coming to an end in most countries.

2. There'll probably be a sale in September, though we can't be sure about it.

3. I think we won't have to download it, but a Developer must answer you to confirm this. As for the transfer of accounts, the Developers are working on this issue. Let's hope all accounts can be transferred. :)

Great V-LOG. I liked the information on the upcoming Unity version and I'm curious to check out the answers to the questions of players in the next episode. What about the statistics of all players?

New Unity actually looks quite good, I may have had a wrong opinion on it.

The new MOP paint looks awesome and good V-Log overall.

So which players will get to test the new Tanki first? Youtubers or older active players?

"youtubers", devs, TO team, special guests etc

Others (including old players) will wait a lot of time, becouse that special testers will test beta version few months after it is released at the end of this year, so if you make a calculation Unity version will be playable to all at about sumer 2016.

I would be glad to know if players playing on flash player version can also play with Unity one or they will play seperate...

Yes we can, both versions are playable at the same time. Even after Unity is out, they will make updates for Flash version 1 or 2 years more.

Was rather hopeful that the news on Vulcan was that it was being nerfed.

It's by far the most over powered turret in the game. Put it on a fully MU'ed Mammoth, add Prodigi fully MU'ed to it and the ranged weapons of Rail (50%), Thunder (43%) and Shaft (29%) are heavilly negated when trying to kill it.

For me this is the turret to use if you have absolutely no ability to steer a tank or aim a turret as you can camp in the open firing continuously as the projectiles will fly at virtual right angles to the direction the turret is pointed.

A real favourite those that drug heavily too.

Intel Core i3

4GB RAM

Intel HD Graphics 4000

Well i think Tankers who already playing Tanki having low FPS will not enjoy the Unity version of Tanki...

I don't trust Unity games so much. Most of the Unity games i have played are not running so smooth and in my opinion Unity games are "heavier"than flash player games..

One thing that bothers me about the Vlog segment about the new Tanki is that they say they can achieve 40 fps in a 10v10 game.  For me, that's bad news; my controls get sloppy below 50 fps and it's hard to aim properly.

Will we have the option to keep playing on the old Tanki, or will we have to move up when the new Tanki is released?

Those aren 't huge game requirements at all.

Most Tankers will have something like that and a lot will even have better equipment.

If 4GB RAM would be a bottleneck on an older system, it is very cheap to upgrade this.

In most computers it is possible to add more RAM.

Use a program like Speccy (just Google and download it from the trusted site FileHippo)

which kind of RAM is in your computer and if there is an empty slot, which will mean you can add

a stick of RAM.

Make sure you add exactly the same kind and amount of RAM or you could

also replace the old one entirely with a new stick with more RAM on it.

Warning: this is real basic info and you better inform yourself much more about this subject or go to a

computerstore if it doesn 't make any sense to you!

Adding RAM is the best and cheapest upgrade, certainly if your computer is lacking enough of it.

The processor Intel Core i3 is adviced in combination with the integrated in the processor itself

Intel HD Graphics 4000.

If you happen to have an older processor you can most likely still make the game run smoothly

by adding a dedicated seperate graphics card.

(good chance there is already one, certainly in a desktop: again you can use Speccy to see

exactly what it is)

These are also often much better in performance compared to the "lousy" Intel HD Graphics 4000.

And you don 't need that expensive graphic card. A cheap one will already outperform

those integrated HD Grapics 4000!

Here is a list of the graphics card hierarchy:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-graphics-card-review,3107-7.html

Anything above the Intel HD graphics 4000 (the third almost empty column from the left) is better:

as you can see that 's quite a list!  :)

I bet Flash puts more strain on our systems than Unity will do.

Tanki really took Flash to it 's utter limits, that 's IMO why we have to wait so long before entering a battle.

Especially on larger crowded Maps there are a lot of calcutions and data transfers that first have

to be made.

Unity games, also more graphic detailed ones, run smoothly and start almost immediately on my computer.

No, in my opinion Unity games are "lighter" and so will Tanki Unity be.

it will by so cool  how firebird will burn tanks? how gold box will look ?how?

Thanks for the downvote! :)

(doesn 't make much sense though to give the next post from

an upvote because it is a confirmation of my post afaik.)

Reading your post I guess that TO Unity will contain much blue colouring in it.

Imagine blue Goldboxes: you need some time to get used to that!
