Product kits; Secrets behind their name and component assembly ( Part 1) by @Flexoo

Introduction

First two weeks of daily missions enabled tankers to save whole stack of crystals. On top of that we were able to  enjoy superb x5 battle fund on first Sunday of August.

Here comes the question - What is the best way to spend our crystal earnings?

If there are no sales around and you feel like a beard will soon start growing down your knees from all that waiting, then buying kit is an excellent option. Tanki provide us various kits on all ranks. Players take advantage of benefits they offer and encountering someone using it, is on a daily basis.

Price and equipment are first  things usually considered before the purchase. But in all honesty, how many of us took a second and thought about the name given to them. What are the product kits named after? You might be surprised how particular components of kit can be linked by appellation.

So let´s proceed to kits shall we? As for first part I chose two interesting m3 kits to discuss namely:

Eyjafjallajökull kit

Warning! Pronouncing this may cause tying tongue to knots.

Spoiler
Name-Origin-of-Eyjafjallajokull.jpg

^ No one can deny, this is real life story! The fact remains. There is a volcano on Iceland that gave this kit his unpronounceable name. As Nraelotdrahebtsum Cidnaleci told me, this giant stratovolcano with  elevation of over 1 600 metres and crater with 3-4 kilometers in diameter has erupted numerous times in past, most recently in 2010.  Lava and rocks were hurled several kilometers, ash in atmosphere led to air travel disruption in northwest Europe for six days. Scary and impressive at the same time!

Eyjafjallajökull in Tanki represents a very powerful kit consisting of Vulcan m3/ Mammoth m3/ Africa. To clear why devs might have tagged together components  of this kit - just like the real Icelandic volcano Vulcan m3 can hurl bullets with incredible speed and power and combined  with remarkable Mammoth m3 as a symbol of the volcano´s proportions  you will get a combo everyone will want to avoid at any cost. You think Africa paint does not fit for kit named after European volcano? True. Inferno  matches better this kit, but on rank Eyjafjallajökull unlocks are far better paints and  maybe few seconds near crater´s blazing lava could be compared to African heat don´t you think?

Moving to second one mentioned;

Boreas kit

One of the newly introduced kits  prior to beginning of August conceals mythological being under his name.  Boreas, in ancient Greek mythology, was one of the four “Anemoi“  - wind gods. Boreas represented north wind, the bringer of winter air, and winter itself. He was also described as being very strong with wild and violent temper. His name can also be translated as “devouring one”.

Perfectly picked name matching this kit. Freeze m3 is unambiguously ice age bringer that will make your opponents regret not taking an extra blanket. No tank can outclass airspeed, but wasp is closest to it. Swift Wasp m3 will become your best friend. #noonesaiditwillgosmoothly

Last but not least  - Taiga.  How Taiga bears  relation to cooling Boreas? Taiga is known as boreal forest or snow-forest. It is located only on northern hemisphere with largest areas in Russia and Canada.  Place where winter  freezing last five to seven months with temperatures reaching -54 °C  (goose bumps).

If you love speed and sight of enemy´s desperate attempts to defrost, go for Boreas. Conquer his airspeed while covered in coniferous paint and blow the avalanche upon your enemies.

Last words about Boreas enclosed this part. That´s all for now folks. Hope you enjoyed reading and stay tuned for more kits to analyze.

Most non turret rotaters that ive every played have been soooo bad, but a few days ago, I played a 2v2 island cp, and both of the opponents were gissimos with m3 xp/bp, and both could not rotate their turrets, but they were really really good. Not sure how it was possible.
