I strongly disagree with this.

The tanki chat is already almost a dating site, and this would only encourage it.  As I have said in the chat numerous times,

"This is a game, not a dating website!!"

 

 

Why a week? Why not make the delay equal to the average duration of a gender reassignment surgery? That would make more sense   :ph34r:

I think gender plays no role in the game, therefore  I don't think there should be such an option, especially because players can easily misuse it and manipulate other players.

I have never thought about whether the player who killed me is a boy or girl, it's a game, both genders have equal rights to play it, and showing genders would just lead to more discrimination, so I think this would be a very bad idea.

- distractions, check.

Ehh... religion... don't bring this into it, it's better imo :) I like the motto 'live and let live', and I like it because it's basically saying I don't care :lol: I wish more people lived by that motto, especially in cases like these. I feel like we're moving back I need time where everything was considered a taboo. I get your point, gr 3s/4s are kinda bad timings for those stuff. But going to the original point of displaying gender... why not? :) just make sure there's the option to choose 'N/A' or something if you don't want to display it :) don't see the prob in that ;)
