frozen controls please help!

ok, what is happening is this: i join a game, press a game control (ie. forward, backward, turn left or right, rotate turret or fire) and the command stays engaged until i press its opposite at which point both stop responding entirely. tried everything i can think of: restarting computer, deleting and reinstalling Chrome, playing on a different browser, virus scanning. this problem seems to have just started up randomly. was working fine earlier and now is not.

as i already said trying a different browser hasn't helped. yes i tried firefox

Okay, then you probably touch Alt while you playing.

yes windows, tried alt no affect, tried stand alone same problem.

Hey, does going into full screen help?

I have these issues when I click out of the game-window while doing a movement.

 

It'll be stuck there until I go in and out of full screen.

They're like and dislike buttons.

The fact that you use them to distinguish helpfull/not helpfull  posts is actually not a bad thing to do;

especially in this section of the forum.

i've never had it happen in other games or software, i don't game alot

Could be a driver issue too:

 

Go into the device manager and uninstall the device, reboot the machine and have windows reinstall drivers. If it IS a keyboard that has special drivers, go to the website after the device manager thing and install the newest ones.

 

I can't really think of other problems that are causing this; except internal hardware defects on your keyboard.

Makes sense because you claimed that the problems are not there when you use a different computer.

just tried using a keyboard ghosting test to check keyboard signals they seem fine (built in laptop keyboard.)

cycling back and forth from full screen to window and back got me about 35 seconds of normal use then froze back up!

Ghosting is completely different; certain keys won't work when others are pressed simultaneously.

It sucks because it means the hardware isn't designed for that type of use, meaning you have to buy a keyboard that doesn't ghost. You can't fix this with software upgrades.

 

Have you tried re-installing your keyboard drivers?

Firefox! I used it it lags too much. Try using Opera mini.

 

Or Get a New keyboard.
