Hot info on TO Unity in V-LOG 58

So, TO Flash will stay open, according to this V-Log. But what about new updates? V-Log? All this will be for TO Unity. I doubt there will be a V-Log for TO Flash. Or maybe a V-Log with Flash part and Unity part.

 

Alors, TO flash will remain open as long as there are players. But what if there are only 20k players per day? TO Flash will be deleted?

 

And even if it's not deleted, there will be less and less players since a lot of players will go play Unity version. Even if we have to start from Recruit again, it's a game with better graphics. Once someone starts to play Unity, he will play less TO Flash.

It 's in the interest of both Tanki and the players that Tanki Unity becomes a success.

It 's up to Tanki in my view to make this happen as soon as possible.

To be clear: the still unanswered question about account transfer should be answered soon and

in a way that it is positive for both parties.

TO 's economy shouldn 't suffer for logical reasons, on the other hand there must be a satisfactory solution for us players

who worked hard for our account(s): buyers and non-buyers alike.

 

In this way we will have a quick transfer of most of our community to TO Unity.

This will more or less automatically lead to the end of Tanki Flash.

Somehow sad but things change and Adobe 's Flash has become a dead end

 

Though I love the many good parts of the old TO Flash it 's a fact that TO Unity has the future.

Granted TO Unity will have it 's own problems, like the loss of all browser support in the coming years but I believe most of us

will be using TO Unity as a standalone client very soon.

It will mean less lag and all those other issues that occur when playing through a browser. We 've all been there with some kind

of an error...

A standalone client will improve our gaming experience, which is in everybody 's interest.

 

Some players would like to stick to Tanki Flash, I do understand that and TO holds up the illussion that this will be the case.

So that we can have two healthy TO versions at the same time.

Personally I don 't believe this for one minute.

Some will say: why not, there are other game with more versions like Counterstrike.

Well, we don 't have the same large pool of players and you need certain numbers to keep a game going.

 

All energy and effort will soon be going to TO Unity and though TO Flash will keep support as TO claims, even updates,

it 's not at all in their interest to keep these two seperate games going.

Not in our interest either if Tanki finds the right solution for the account transfer I believe.

If they don 't, we will indeed have two seperate TO 's, because many (long-time) players will stay in TO Flash if their 

account becomes worthless in TO Unity and IMO two TO 's will eventually mean the end of both and

consequently Alternativa Company. We 're just not big enough to have two.

 

Two seperate games means two seperate communities: less battles to choose from, maybe still doable in peak hours,

but what about the more quit times on the servers due to the timezones?

They will need a large TO staff to keep two completely different running games going, which simply means more servers,

more personel and salary that all has to be paid.

Which is good for employment, but in nowadays very competetive economy sadly not good for most companies.

 

No, we have to say goodbye to TO Flash as soon as possible IMO when the new TO Unity is running smoothly.

Hopefully with good marketing from TO and us players being enthusiastic about TO Unity (if it 's good ofcourse,

but I believe it wil be: we will need some time to get accustomed to it, different looks etc. but that 's normal)

and spreading that news that "there 's a (shiny) new kid in town" there 's not a lot to keep TO Unity

from becoming a huge success!

 

It 's completely up to you Tanki: which path will you choose?

They should attrach an icon named unity in all accounts. If i want to play unity version i ll click unity icon and my computer will auto linked with New version tanki.

So from my point of view, it really won't matter if our accounts get transfered to the Unity version or not.. because for those people who are at my rank on the current Tanki, all of your M3's/M4's will NOT vanish in thin air once Unity version gets released, all of that stuff will remain on flash/current version of Tanki. 

 

And the prices on hulls, turrets and paints are going to be different on Unity version from the current version?

 

Well, it's got me thinking... will the prices be even more expensive, or cheaper? :mellow:

I have feeling that they will increase prices of everyting and refund us 50% of our crystals earned or that they will double price of everything and refund us 100%. They only care about money, not players. Where is good update for players? we need stabile servers and games without mults, but they only focus about fancy graphic. First fix main problems and then care about design!!!! And btw i will stop playing if we cant transfer our accounts on unity with everything.

"you will be able to transfer your existing account(s) to TO Unity..."

Come on have the "balls" to give us a difinitive answer on accout's transfering.  Your sells will be and should be a flop.  Why on earth would someone invest in a flash version of tanki if they are going to lose what they have.  It's a shame I've enjoyed my time playing hope you don't ruin it. Most will not reinvest in unity due to trust.  I know the business has to make money but I hope there is a fairness aspect to us that have made you money and paved the way for Unity TO..

Epic railgun shot pff... youtubers come together and use their power to get some aimless teenboys help them for free and now they will get 50k instead of 40k a week.

The so called "rumors" that there will be no transfer, where all based on the Maksim Husainov words after all. I'm sorry but thats a fact. Weren't we also told, that it may be impossible to do it, because of technical issues? Now, it all comes down to a decision. In other words, technically, it is not impossible.

 

The decision will be made, after testing the new game and the economy. Simply said - if the majority of the players, refuse to start from a scratch, and stay on the Flash, the deveopers will have to reconsider and grant us a transfer. If they get enough people on the Unity, who doesnt care about all this, then, I'm sorry guys, all the time you've spent, as well as your hard earned money we've payed, are staying within a slowly dying out Flash version.

 

It's not the first time I am writting, that there isn't enough stability for a good business model in here. It was bad enough that everything you may pay for, could be tweaked at any given time But it was tolerable. The whole thing now thought, gets to a whole new level. I'm sorry but I don't see much honesty here. Naturally if You have told us the truth from the beginning, that might have had a big financial impact. After all, why invest into a doomed project, which the Flash Tanki is, more or less, with the emerging of the Unity.

Honestly, I preferthe flash version since the question of transferring isnot yet solved :| Moreover players who wont be able to have the minimum requirement will still be able to play the flash versions... If accounts can't be transfered so I'll quit TO :( Apart from this, about sales: Please for the love of God, 50% sales on buying crystals please ;( I want this so much since it's my birthday too on the weekend. Please tanki online team, I rely on you.
