Hot info on TO Unity in V-LOG 58

This is really troubling. What data do they need to make this decision? There are going to be a lot of very unhappy players if accounts are not transferable. Many of the Gizmo's that have spent years developing their accounts only to see them become obsolete like the Flash version of Tanki will quit playing the game.

 

One way to let Tanki know that you are not happy with even the possibility of accounts not being transferred is to recommend to everyone that they not purchase anymore crys until Tanki announces that "Yes, old accounts are transferrable to Unity".  Until that time put your wallets back in your pocket.

As you can see we have been ignored on the score cap update (see the final post - regardless of all our feedback nothing is going to be changed except possibly in CP).

Are you sure that it is not too early to say something like that? Will devs even reconsider that?But then again no ranks means you can buy whatever equipment you want whether it would be m0s or m3s...but then we will get wrecked by buyers how will they manage the game to remain balanced?????

If there is no rank system, some of the best and nicest moments of Tanki, the rank ups, will be lost..! The feeling of being rewarded will be lost too.. Also, noobs will play next to experienced players which will make the game unbalanced.. In the end, many guys continue to play Tanki just to reach the Generallissimo rank, if the rank system is gone, the majority of them will stop playing much easier..!

As far as I know, the rank system will still be present in Unity TO, but it will be somewhat different from what we have now. I'm not sure if it will be a small difference like a change in design, or a big one like the change in the way equipment depends on ranks, but either way I think it's too early to make any conclusions.

Seems to me they are looking at an experience system and you will unlock items as you gain exp, in any rate I look forward to give you guys my thoughts on the new system as soon as I get it downloaded and have a chance to pick it apart :p

I would not be upset if they said I have to start my Unity account(s) from scratch. Even though I have one quite close to gizmo, so it may become Generalissimo by the time the Unity starts.

 

On the other hand I would be really frustrated and disappointed if I were not compensated for my current garage items and crystals, especially for the account that I bought crystal for. I think it is the minimum, that those supported TO with buying crystals should be awarded with something. Something valuable in Unity.

I guess making Unity TO won't be a good step, ppl r already not liking it and if there accs can't be transferred, they'll leave for sure cuz they have bought many crys on Flash TO

Its already planned like that..

The flash TO will NOT be removed until people continue to play it...

IF in future, there are hardly a few players left who play the Flash TO, then they will have to shut down their support for the flash.. Otherwise, if people continue playing the Flash version, then it wouldn't be closed...

They at TO care for us and our money...^_^..

Also, if people play the flash version, then the Flash version will continue to receive updates...just like it is receiving these days...

Currently nobody knows. So there is no "small" chance, or "excellent" chance.

It's just simply, NOBODY KNOWS.

 

I'm being safe and just not playing at all until things are announced officially. Lol. :P

 

I'm just guessing, but the fact how they say the new TO is a whole separate product with a very different economy means that we'll probably not get a transfer. Hazel-Rah already said that it's not really a transfer since new TO is a separate product. It's more of a DOUBLING of garage.

Do you really think TO is about to give you +100%, or in other words doubling your garage? I don't think so . ..  .

But lets just hope for the best. Better give us some exclusives or something for the guys who have to start from scratch. :ph34r:

 

 

I don't really care if we keep our garages or if we have to start from scratch. What's important is what will the new economy be, what will the income resources will be and if power will go on being the major product a player can buy.

If so, then bye bye Tanki.

 

New and improved graphics are ok, but if I can't afford to buy (by time, skill and small amounts of real money) my playing, then what good are they to me?

In previous V-LOG they said Unity beta testing is going to start at the end of 2015. After months of testing and preparations Unity beta will be playable for the rest of 99.99% of players.

 

I do not expect Unity version before May, June 2016. So we will watch plenty of new V-LOG's in the future about Unity including info of garage, crystals, rank, clan transfer.

This is my fear as well. IMHO there is very little chance that we will have our accounts transferred. You will have been robbed of all the crys you earned in the game and all the countless hours you spend MU'ing your equipment.

 

Be prepared to be shafted.

 

We all know that eventually the Flash version will NOT be supported by paid staff and all new players of the game will create account only in UNITY. The flash game will die out along with all the money and time you and I spent building our obsolete accounts.
