If you get crushed before freezing in time with your remnants, you are, inevitably, dead.

I vote for gabe ↓ for being your science teacher (though he left pbsspacetime :( ) , as well as many others, and a lot of reading.  But honestly, I am not a physics guy by no means, but I too had the same misconceptions about the green parts above.  I wished I had made a list of all the videos, documentaries and reading materials that helped me change my mind about those, but yes, google is your friend, and lately serious youtube channels are pinning down on those :)

However, I don't understand one thing. The guy in the video said that the singularity is just a blob of events that we, observers, said never happened. How did he know that, when no one has been into it?

 

Instead, I found some useful information regarding black holes from NASA, Wikipedia, and some of them clashes with the video you showed…

 

I watched this video, and I feel that it's slightly different. Perhaps all we have are just speculations?

Actually, science (nah I saw this on discovery channel) tells that if you go in black hole you will reach to a alternate past time line. And how to get out of it you ask, there's a "White hole".
