Tankionline first make higher expectation to giving big discounts like 70% , 50% 2x battle fund 5k gold boxes etc so now we expecting more from tanki and suddenly get this type of sales the reaction of tankers you see is obviously normal

Yes indeed. Expectations were made too high, we once had like 70% discount on railgun, that is like really once-in-a-lifetime, because there came so many railguns M3 back then, that xp got flooded with people who never played XP, so the quality of the game went downwards, just because of a big sale.

Here's the thing. Sales, contests, etc. are a promotional offer which keep old players happy and new players coming in. Tanki's not doing only us a favour by giving these discounts. It's a business and they need attractions. Once you unveil an attraction, you don't downsize it next time. That just shows that your business is failing. I'm sure all of us here will agree that both, the frequency and quality of sales has reduced from what it was in, say, 2013. Perhaps, they raised the bar too high in the first place. If no one expected a 50% sale in the first place, no one would rage about it.

That, my man, is exactly the case. If tanki sticked with 25% and if they never gave a x5 funds, we would all not know what we would be missing. Because we miss 50% and x2 or x5 funds, people get angry.

I would be very interested to know if a 25% discount gets Tanki more money because there are enough people who have much more money than I do to buy the same number of crystals they would have regardless, or whether they would have made more money with a 50% discount and many more people buy crystals.  While I doubt that this information will ever come to us, they had better be collecting it for their own sake.

The problem is that a fully MU'ed tank costs the equivalent of $700 USD.

 

So, yes, we do sort of expect 50% sales once in awhile.

 

Even at 50% discount that's still one damned expensive tank.

 

There isn't a single game you can buy off the shelf anywhere that costs $350, let alone, $700 for the "full experience."
