Guys, this is very disappointing, seriously.

 

Please understand that we can't have 50% sales all the time. Actually, I think we are one of the few games who ever has 50% sales, most just don't do that.

 

Why? Because it affects the game's economy SO MUCH.

 

If Tanki's economy gets ruined, the whole game will be ruined. There won't be 50%, 40%, 25% or any sales. There won't be the game at all.

 

I know that the last year was full of sales, but it actually affected the game in a pretty negative way. Please understand, that the game needs to function steadily to keep living and growing, and giving you fun and enjoyment.

 

If we continued last year's policy, I don't know where Tanki would be now. Probably it wouldn't exist.

 

So yes, it's a 2-sided thing. You love sales, but big sales are dangerous. That's why we limited it to 40%, as a perfect balance between fun for players and balance for the game. Unfortunately, many of you guys didn't understand that.

 

What I ask you to do is to try to understand that it's a lot more complicated then it looks. It about constant balance. And 40% is better than no sale or 25% off.

 

I hope some of you are grateful for the celebrations. This would really give us a boost to keep working for you.

U just received 5X battle fund with continuous gold boxes couple of weeks earlier with 50%,40,%,30% discounts on certain items moreover 20k free cry on first purchase so for me this 10% reduction makes sense because they have to balance the game economy i hope u understand what i am trying to say

 Are you stupid? They did a sale for champions of purpose so they dont put 50% off all garage. Would you prefer waiting 1 month and get all 50% sale or buy stuff 50% off or less and its them that chooses the items.

The only reason you are unhappy is because we gave too many sales last year. Naturally, you guys got used to them and now think that anything below 50% off is not a good sale.

 

This will be fixed with time though, the only thing it takes is time. Consider this a visit to a rehab. A rehab for 50% off addicts. :D

 

Seriously though, sales are not everything. We'll be looking more into the side of doing some all-new gameplay experiences for events (new battle modes and stuff like that). Stay tuned :)

Not many F2P games would cost 700$ to get the full game experience (1 M3 tank alone) and yet spend another 50$ on supplies just to be able to compete. Most developers don't give sales because they don't need to. They have a well-balanced monetary model which won't affect players as much.

 

On the other hand, in Tanki, costs of M3 combos without a sale reach close to 1 million cry. An average 15min battle at that Gismo gives around 1000 cry only if you win and you are first. If you think you can advance through all the ranks without sale, well you're definetly wrong.

 

This game may look F2P, but in reality, it is insanely Pay2win.

Which Generalissimo battle gives you 1000 crystals (per person) in 15 minutes??? O_o I wanna play that LOL.

 

Bad info, unless you mean drag battles. But then again, most of the non-buyer Gens, a.k.a skilled ones play XP/BP or PRO battles, that most definitely, don't give 1000 crystals(per person) in 15 mins lol. I have played Parma XPs for 30-45 mins with the fund per person being around 500-700 MAX, but that's after a good amount of killing each other.

 

And those that buy crystals and spend them on drugs well, they don't need that excessive fund anyways, do they? :)

I meant the inumerable Polygon CPs in almost all the active servers, and I never mentioned it was per player. I just said it was if you are on top in a well balanced battle (which is rare btw). Thanks for clarifying. My point is, non-buyers play XP or some other type of PRO battles, where in a 15 min 2vs2 game that fund grows to usually around 1.5k and gets divided by 4 (since it's 2v2).  That's why i got so surprised from your statement. :P Cheers)

And seriously, why would anyone listen to your opinion on game's economy anyways? You get FREE crystals for God's sake. You don't care if there's any sale at all. (facepalm)

 

Whereas i get crystals only from actually playing this game, and what i see is that last time i bought anything from Garage, was June....we are on freaking September and i had to save for 3 months. You think i don't deserve one lousy 50% sale after 3 months of saving and these ridiculously high prices? YOU MAD BRO...

 

Plus, the guy didn't even said about sales EVERY weekend, he just said "more frequent" than every 3 months (huge difference), which is what exactly happens right now.

 

Last but not least, since you think you funny, check out 9Dragons, that online game is older than Tanki, and they have sales/events every weekend. Don't believe me? Give it a try instead of trying to be funny ;)

 

Keep in mind that all this "crying" comes from a really succesful non-buyer player, since i am 1st and winning most of my battles, therefore i still earn crystals well over a mediocre player, and my garage on my most recent 1 year-old account is lame, i have only XP M3 so...I can only imagine how hard it is, for a player with less experience and thus less success in battles, to get enough crystals in order to buy something.
